I think this will be hard to answer. Simply put, not many people have "all" the wands to compare noise but I will tell you that most, if not all of the large mains powered wands are LOUD. (Especially at top speed) The kind of loud that would stop you using them if anyone was in the same house awake lol.

You will however find a lot lot lot of toys on the market advertised as a wand, and these all range in noise from quiet to loud too but to me, they are not "wands" in the sense that I think of a wand.

For a mains powered wand you will be looking at £40+ for price

Battery operated options are cheaper but less powerful and roughly half the price. I dont know about noise (Not tried this wand) but heres a battery operated one that has good reviews:

Mains operated this is probably the cheapest ish. I own this one and its brill but noisy and not exactly budget but so so many women rave about it and it was like, a best seller or product of the year or something lol also ranked as number 1 in most powerful vibes on the LH blog. Here you go:

I wouldnt rush into buying the above wand. I've had mine about 6 months and its losing its cool. It is getting progressivly louder and less powerful, to the extent that I avoid using it when there are people kicking about my flat.

Wands are big and powerful and to get that effect the motor is sadly going to be louder than a smaller toy.

The LELO smart wand has excellent reviews and gets good marks on the quiteness scale. Sadly there is a pricetag to match it.

On second thought I might get the lelo, because you are going to save money on batteries. Plus I'm a lelo fan

Aww this sucks :( As I said I do not own it so cant recommend but the OP is looking for something on a budget otherwise I would of been linking the Lelo. (Another wand I dont own yet I have yet to hear bad things about it)

When I think wand I think mains operated. The whole hype with wands is their insane power and in my experience this only comes from the big boys (Mains operated etc) battery powered wands are just wand wannabes in my opinion lol Some will be quite powerful but ive yet to see anyone anywhere find a battery operated wand that has anything like the power of those big boys.

Id seriously recommend saving for the LH Deluxe though. At £50 its in between the Lelo and the battery operated and it will vibrate your socks off.
