Noooo I've wanted some for ages and then these came into stock yesterday http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=25553 . I was literally just about to put them in my basket and they're sold out!

I swear there's like a world wide shortage of kegel balls since 50 shades haha

Weekly sales of Kegel Balls on Lovehoney now up 653% compared to just before Fifty Shades came out! There is a worldwide shortage - genuinely. Dan from Je Joue was telling me how they just can't manufacture enough Ami to keep up with demand at the moment.

We're trying to keep as many in stock as possible though and hve just published this new guide to help everyone clamouring for balls to choose the right ones:

I heard after using them for a few days your orgasms are intense! So had to get them. No harm in trying right?
When I opened them I thought wow bit big but they are so comfortable!

i did have a set but they were the size of actual eggs so a bit big for me.

it's something i've been considering for a while to help with the pelvic floor excersises. not too bad at doing them usually but it's the kinda thing you can never do too much of.

as for the ones you want, theese are incredibly similar - and around £5 cheaper! http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=21679

I got these a few months ago, I too don't need them but wanted my pelvic floor to be even stronger!

Very comfortable and in my opinion, they look better than the rounder ones.

Read my review if you want :)

I've just received the cheap ones HunnyBunny linked, my body being my body my period has reared its ugly head, just wanted to ask...

Kegel Balls & Aunt Flo? Enemies?

I take tranexamic acid tablets for heavy/horrible periods so don't have much 'flo' to make it messy...shall I wait until I'm no longer unclean to try working my pelvic floor?

Ermm surely the string would get dirty? I don't think the balls would be effected that much, but it might be a bit unhygienic. I image the ones with the silicone string would be okay, but I wouldn't recommend it with those ones. (just assuming, I haven't used kegel balls yet)

Also, wouldn't they just keep sliding out?

I'd assume not as tampons don't slide out, do they? But I guess if the balls were heavy that could be a possibility. I'd say to wait til you're period's finished just to be on the safe side.

I have used mine when on my period, although I didn't realise I was actually on until I removed them! Mine are all silicone, including the string so it wasn't a problem at all and they felt no different. I don't think I would put them in if I knew I was on properly though as mine are usually quite heavy! (sorry if any of that is too much information)

    I wouldn't recommend these ones

They feel cheap and are actually quite uncomfortable. I really don't like the sensation and have considered cutting off the string because it's irritating but wouldn't want them to get stuck up there!

I am not sure I would use them while on my period. I mean that its the time when you are more likely to get some infection and the string unless its silicone can to certain extent catch body fluids and also in my case they are actually worsening the period cramps. I know this, because if I wear them just before the period is due, I get cramps within few minutes of them in.

When pulling them out relax as much as possible- I found them difficult to remove too! And putting them in......again relax and I found lifting one leg on to the side of the bath helped get them in the right position- bit too much information but it helped me LOL...they have to go pretty high up! Thought the string part was going to break but I am sure they wont!

I didnt think I needed them nor did OH but I thought what the hell I'll get them! Yes, I wear them quite a lot LOL and have found they have made a difference. Death grip is the term I like to use hehe and the muscles feel tighter and help with stronger orgasms- have used them for about 2 months I guess but felt like the starting working after a couple of weeks.....if you really struggle to get them in use a bit of lube although I rarely need it...xx
