Is the red We-Vibe 3 the same colour as the red We-Vibe II? It looks a lot darker based on the pictures.

See that looks more like the We-Vibe 2 colour, but on the Lovehoney page it looks more like a browner shade of red. Why is that?

    hi ali,

I suspect that the pictures with the varying colours are a result of one of the following:

a)it may be a computer generated image (rather than a photo)

    b) a photo of a prototype and the final colours are slightly different

c)studio lighing for the photographs was different to that of the video

d)Photoshop. everything these days seem to be photoshopped to make things look better :)

personally i wouldnt be worried about slight colour variations of products. colours often vary form one batch of a product to the next. (think of wallpaper when you have to match batch numbers). it is possible that both have been kicking about at some point (especially if they are only samples).

also, looking at user photos (blogs etc) of the product might help to see what it really looks like.

I generally found out that not all photos of product show the colour 100% accuratly. I noticed it with the G-Ki for example, or the purple We-Vibe Tango. The colouring would hugely depend on the light when the shot is taken as well as other camera settings.

Actually with the Lelo Gigi the colour in daylight seems to be fuchsia, while in darker lighting like with a bulb it is purple. So some toys colours can be seen different shape of the colour even without photos.

Yep, all those things - and also the screen you're using. We notice a HUGE variation due to people's screens (even working on things here in the office we'll go from one to the other and it's like "Woah, that looks different...").
