Pretty new to the world of sex toys - but following the end of my marriage 'needs must'

Due to pretty barbaric surgery when I was a kid I have no clitoris, and virtually no sensation in my vulva due to lots of scar tissue - but I have learnt over the years how to achieve vaginal orgasm - but I need to be "on top" and for want of a better description I need to "grind" a lot

My first purchase was this -

    7 speed thrusting rabbit - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=20727

Whilst I was pretty happy with it initially – I didn’t expect to be able to completely stop the rotating/thrusting action by clenching my vaginal muscles – which I need to do (it was a tad frustrating – just as I was nearly there) – and in the end it stopped working altogether inside a month (BTW I have returned it and been promised a refund to my credit card)

As an alternative I ordered this –

    G spot vibrator - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=14799

So far this has done nothing for me – and again it seems that the slightest clenching of muscle stops the rotating action

I’ve worked out the rabbit style is obviously not for me – but to save me working through the entire LH range (could be a lot of fun – but expensive – and not sure what the La Poste lady who delivers here will eventually think) can anyone with much more toy experience than me make any suggestions- until hopefully an obliging bloke comes along

    Thanks for reading

    Hi, and welcome to Lovehoney!

I am very happy to hear that you do and can reach a vaginal orgasm. I, personally prefer the "on top" position whilst masturbating as well. I would like to suggest some toys that have worked for me internally.

I bought this a while back on sale on a whim and I fell in love with it. It looks quite big at first but wow, did it feel good. I would suggest lube as well. http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16050 It feels amazing to grind against and the shape and size is really satisfying. I use it mainly as a dildo rather than a vibe as the vibrations don't do much for me.

Also, I'd suggest buying a glass dildo. The sensations you get is unbelievable. I have yet to use it heated or cooled but in its amazing in its original state. Because it's glass, it heats up due to your internal heat and that has a wonderful massaging effect down there. Have a good look at Lovehoney's range and also keep in mind what kind of shape you'd like as glass is unyielding. I have this one: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=11680 but this seems to be a firm favourite with a perfect rating of 5/5: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=11683

There is also one dual glass dildo set: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=17187

Let us know what you choose and good luck! =]

    Hello,

I am sorry for the surgery. And welcome to the forum.

    As for some suggestions.

Maybe one of these. They dont work for everyone and they are bit different so the trick is choosing the right one. But I am not sure how deep you seek it.

Glass dildos are fun, but not sure how much suited for a grinding on them. But you could consider one in the future. I cannot orgasm with my ceramic dildo, as I never had internal orgasm, yet, but I still think its great and lovely play.

    I have this beaty

How about something like this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16092

My guess would be that it could withstand a lot of clenching without interrupting the vibrations.

    Hiya,

I'd really recommend this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16030 My review is on there, but to sum up the ridges feel great without even switching the vibes on, the shape stimulates your G-Spot and there are some fun vibration patterns.

    Nice modest price-tag too

Thanks very much for the suggestions ladies - I'll enjoy a good look later - but I certainly like the look of the last 3 (especially totallylamb's - shame there's not a watering eyes smilie!!)

Must admit I hadn't thought about glass/ceramic as I guess I thought vibrations were pretty important to me, but will certainly give them some thought - makes me think of the days we were young and poor and these sorts of toys weren't easily available - when a cold cucumber from the fridge did duty!!

Will let you know which way I go

Oh I heard about the cucumber many times! I heard from some people even why bother with sex toy, its waste of money and use something cheap from the fridge!

But glass toys are lovely, you can warm them, or make them cold. And my ceramic dildo warms sooo nicely by my inner heat after some time. They are very pleasurable. And sometimes its just fun to use them without having the orgasm, as I still have to reach my first internal orgasm. And if they dont make you orgasm, you can switch for a toy which would. Thats what I do after some lovely session with mine which leaves me craving more.

I hope it goes well with you.

Ha ha Laveila - maybe I'd go with the cucumber again as a standby - but I'm staying with friends - not sure I'd be confident of keeping it in the fridge but making sure it didn't get eaten when I wasn't looking!!!!!!!!

Have decided to try my first ceramic - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15150 - and a cheapy dildo vibrator- http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16050 and placed the order this afternoon

Unfortunately I'm going to have to talk to LH about returning the Rotating Rabbit G Spot vibrator- it has completely stopped vibrating after only 3 uses - can't believe it's only me - and it's disheartening (not to mention the cost as I'm not in the UK) to have to send back this one as well

Just have to wait till next weekend to try out the latest purchases

Thanks for all the advice - and BTW I'm keeping totallylamb's suggestion as a final choice if these 2 fail to live up to expectations

If the vibrator is faulty, LH will repay the postage to you I believe. Its different when the toy is faulty compared to when you dont like it.

And the ceramic dildo is the second one I had my eyes on. It also looks amazing. should be fun using it.

I hope you like your toys!
