So there are these male sex toys about, and I've never heard of them.

TENGA EGGS.

I want to get my OH something, since lately all we have been discussing is stuff that could be used on me.

Soo, does anyone have any experiences with these? Does it really 'do what it says on the tin'?

Many Thanks x

The eggs definitely deliver plenty of pleasure and they are pretty discreet but they are hardly what I'd call "couple friendly", i found them much better for solo use.

The biggest problem with the eggs is that they are "single use" items. In reality they can be cleaned and reused a few times but it is still worth bearing in mind.

If your OH looking is for a first male masturbator then I'd probably look into getting a stroker of some kind instead.

I can really recommend the Tracey Cox Supersex Stroker, it is reversible, very pleasurable and almost indestructible.

My absolute favourite stroker at the moment though is the Small Miku Realistic Pussy Stroker which gets more use than my Tenga Flip Hole. The Miku is totally different to the Tracey Cox, it's much softer and feels nicer than many more expensive toys and is great for couples use too - my partner finds this one really easy to use on me.

There are many more expensive strokers but i'd go for a cheaper one first to see if he likes them.

Whether you get a stroker or an egg though, don't forget the lube!

My OH isnt really looking for a mastorbator..I want something more down the lines of something we could use together. He doesn't have any interest in the strokers either.

Hmmm. See, I disagree entirely. I think they are very couple friendly. Ok, they don't last very long, but keeping it in good condition and not going daft with it, you can make it last for a fair few uses.

If your man hasn't ever used a male masturbator before, and if you are feeling a little nervous about them, then I would strongly suggest one of the Tenga Eggs.

I got one for my man, and he is rather old fashioned. He doesn't know what to make of sex toys. I have a lot of them, but he hardly ever sees them, and he doesn't want to, (but I'm beginning to introduce him very slowly to massager vibrators), and he was quite sure that he wouldn't want a sex toy to take the place of anything during sex. I got a Tenga Egg for him to liven up hand jobs I give him. And he loved it! I was really suprised! (and so was he, actually!)

A while later I got him a Vulcan Fun Zone masturbator.

This is actually quite a good masturbator, but it takes a bit of getting used to after using the Tenga eggs.

The material feels good, but it really needs to be warmed up in warm water first, the inside feels ok, but it needs lots and lots of lubricant. The sachet you get with it is barely enough! Getting the lube inside the thing is also a bit of a task. The outer tub is just annoying. My man hated it and we couldn't control it very well. The suction hole at the top is noisy when it is not completely covered and we can't use it when it is completely covered. Sounds all sloppy and loud. Quite a turn off to be honest!

The masturbator sleeve can be taken out the tub though, which my man prefers, but the Tenga Egg is so much easier and quicker to use and clean.

Suction, to my man, isn't important, as when I use it on him, I just control the tightness with my hand(s), which he loves.

The Tracey Cox Supersex sleeve that Satoshi posted above, is really highly rated though I have never used it or really wanted to try using it. But it does last a lot longer than a Tenga Egg. I actually really like a lot of Tracey Cox toys, and I own a few of them now, so her name is quite a good one to have on a product, especially for beginner toys!

Um. Not sure what else to add. Not quite sure what you mean by "does what it says on the tin".

I think the does what it says on the tin is refered if it really works. But thats a bit tricky question, as it may work, may work for majority, but may not work for someone. Also I guess choosing the right texture can be bit tricky. People may enjoy enjoy the different texture differently. Its like women toys, it may not work for everyone.

I need to point out that male masturbators aren't designed to be used on women. If you are looking for something that you can use together, then a sleeve is only used on his penis and you controlling it (if you want to).

Here are some options for couple friendly toys that you can both use together.

Massager vibrators are designed to be couple friendly. You can try using a vibrator over his penis and balls. Some men love it, some hate it. But if it isn't for him, you can use it over his back and shoulders for an intimate massage or let him use it for a very intimate massage on you. The Tracey Cox massager is pretty good. Has a nice shape that would be good for mens genitals and for using over shoulders etc. It also has very deep rumbly vibrations which, personally, I love!

There is also this vibrator that I think is so funny and cute! Your partner surely can't say no to this! I know mine probably wouldn't!

Cock rings can be found with added bullets in them to stimulate your pleasure zones now. So while you have intercourse, not only will his erection be stronger and last a bit longer, but you can also have the added bonus of having vibrations against your clitoris too!

There is also the worlds first genuine couple use vibrator, the We-Vibe. This little vibrator is more costly, but the idea is genius. One end of the vibe goes in you, while the other end snuggles up against your clitoris, designed to add much more pleasure for you and your partner. Though it can be a hit and miss item, the people who like it, love it! Like marmite, really.

Love eggs are also popular. A wireless one like this can be great fun when you give your partner the controls. Not only will you get a thrill, your partner will also get a thrill knowing that he is in control of your pleasure!

Last but certainly not least, the power of lubricant! Unbelievably under rated, but a good lubricant can make such a difference to sex life it should be the first thing taught in sex ed classes at school!

Lube used to only be a big tub of K-Y Jelly that was only used by older couples who had lost their natural slippage! A grossed out feeling when sitting on the toilet in a friends grannys bathroom and seeing the cursed tub sitting on their shelf!

The truth is that everyone should use lube, regardless of having a bit of trouble with dryness or not! And a good quality lubricant can make such a difference and feel really good whether you are having intercourse, giving your partner a hand job or having a sensual massage or oral!

It can take some time to find the right lubricants for you, but Sliquid is a well known, high quality brand of lubricant that a lot of people like. You can also get warming lubes, cooling lubes, flavours of all sorts, thick lubes, thin lubes, lubes that heighten sensation for both partners, the list goes on.

I think it's fab how something so simple can make such a big difference!

I don't have any personal experiences with a tenga egg but I do think they look very couple friendly and a very good option for a first male sex toy as they're not that threatening (some realistic style ones can be off-putting at first) and cheap.

Any male sex toy, namely strokers and sleeves, can be called "couple friendly" with regards to the fact that the partner can easily use it on him as part of foreplay or mutual masturbation etc.

I'd recommend trying the Tenga egg at first and see how you guys get along with it. There are a few reviews on them that can give an idea of how well people like it. I think the most popular is the Tenga Wavy but the Twister one seems to come on top for now- http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/brands/tenga/all/all/0/

The idea of the egg being named "disposable" really puts me off as there are other male toys in the similar price range that are more durable. I'm still quite curious about the sensations they can make though.

Good luck choosing. Let us know what you get and how you get on with it. =]

Oh and btw, I just read this review- TENGA Egg Wavy&reviewid=36173#customer_reviews

I love the suggestion he made that the egg can be used on his partner. Very creative. =]
