    i have just got my zini seed in the post this morning- it has been charging for about 6 hours now and plugged in the light is blue. when i unplug it and try and use it nothing happens at all- i have tried this travel lock thing a few times and nothing happens when i press down the buttons. when i plug it in it will work but in a very odd way. should it be so complicated?! have i been sent a faulty one? anyone else found it difficult?!

    Did you press the - first then the - and + together?

    Suze is right, hold the + and - for 5 seconds. Then it will go green and you can press buttons.

    Click the live chat at the top and see what customer service say, fiddly as it is it should work by pressing the buttons that way.

    I charged my zini seed today and it seems to work ok, there was one funny moment where it didn't turn on at all even though the travel lock was off but I don't know if it's faulty or not yet. Mostly it seems to be working ok.

    I received a zini that did the same thing KM. It was really frustrating cause it would only work plugged in but was redundant when I took it off charge. It sounds faulty to me, send it back. Better luck with the replacement. =]

    I hope so too, its an amazing range and I wouldn't be without mine now, neither would the OH but only if I switch it on for him, thats why I suggested the button thing :)

    I am sure you will get a replacement fast, usually from sending off the return product and recieving the new one is around 3-4 working days. However, most of that time is the product getting to LH. Once you receive the recieved email, they usually send it out either the same day or the next one.

    Hope the replacement works. Suze is right, it is a fantastic range!

    I am really confused. Got Zini today, when put on charge, its blue, which means its fully charged? Its still on charging, but wondering how I would know its fully charged?

    Right. I think I have the same issue Kat had. it only works while pluged into the socket, which I am not so happy about. I cannot unlock it no matter how hard I try
