Hi all This is my first forum post here so sorry if I'm rambling or someone has asked something to this effect before...

so basically, after having made a few purchases of Lovehoney branded toys I've noticed a trend of sorts, in that so many of these toys have a Bluebella equivalent, usually priced at a few pounds more.

    For example:

    http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=24786 and

    http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=24804

    http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16603 and

    http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=24764

Naturally I always head straight for the Lovehoney versions but is there something better about the Bluebella equivalents to justify the higher price? All of the product descriptions appear to be the same and if anything, the pricier versions all seem to have lower review ratings.

Sorry if this is a really stupid question but it's been niggling at me like a loose tooth.

I've often wondered this too! I have just gone for the LH brand with previous purchases.

I don't know either, I bought the Bluebella rocket only because it was in the sale otherwise I would have bought the Lovehoney one.

Maybe Lovehoney can enlighten us :)

I'm 90% certain that bluebella is owned by lh. So I'm tempted to say the only difference is packaging and perceived market differentiation.

I got it as well, though it surely would have been slightly clearer to say Supermarket beans are manufactured at the heinz factory and then branded in supermarket packaging

I think Bluebella is more expensive, I could be wrong, but I think that's the difference.

Bluebella stuff it basically LH stuff (part of the same company) just more expensive and branded with the Bluebella branding and in different packaging (prettier descreet female oriented) it's the stuff you might buy at a Bluebella party they're like AS parties that everyone has heard of
