I really, REALLY want to kiss a girl with a tongue piercing!  My friend has had it done and I find it fascinating and sexy!  I can hear her clicking it against her teeth in lectures and see her rolling it on her lips - she does it on purpose to wind me up now but I love it!!

I haven't kissed a girl with a tongue piercing either... Well, I have, but I dont actually remember anything specially different about it at all!

I imagine a tongue piercing when giving oral could be quite fantastic in some ways though!

I have my tongue peirced. My ex didnt like it and always made me take it out when giving oral and wouldnt french kiss me!! But my new bf loves it and says it is much better.

Each to their own I suppose.

I will also say that I would love to get my clit hood peirced, just dont like the thought of someone being down there on me. Even getting waxed is a no go for me.

My best male mate has had his head done - not a prince albert but just through that line/strip of skin that attaches to the foreskin.

Ugh! I hate male genital piercings.. Had sex with a guy with prince albert piercing and it was really uncomfortable during sex for me. Didn't like it at all.

Lubyanka whereabouts in Belfast did you get your tattoos done? They look very well done. I cant remember the name (care not to) but I got one of mine done at one just of Wellington Place (beside Black mands tech) but it wasnt too good.

Dont think my skin can take them well though.

PS sorry if im being rude, no need to say if you want your privicy :)

He always used to ask my mate if she could feel it, but she couldn't!! Was just a bar.

Yeah, I've been to a few places in Belfast and left without getting anything done because I felt very uncomfortable with the people who worked there.

Anyhow, I got the snow leopard done in New York City.  The treble clef I got at Skullduggery in 2005:

The one on my arse I got at White Dragon in 2006

I'd say that if you really want something better than the usual, wait til you go on holiday to a big city somewhere, and research tattoo artists in that city and set up an appointment before you go.  That's what I did for the snow leopard one.  Then you get an amazing tattoo as well as a memory of the holiday.  :)

I really want to get my nipples pierced in the future, but the thought of exposing my breasts to a total stranger terrifies me! I have been debating whether or not to get my tongue pierced though.

Yes it would! In many careers actually :s I can't imagine piercing any part of myself, would start and chicken out halfway through.

AA I agree completely with your assessment of male genital piercings!

Lol! A friend of mine always pierces herself and other people when she's had a few drinks! Its really scary for someone like me looking from the outside at what she does, but funnily enough not a single one has become infected or had any problems!! She's done about 30 piercings!

I would never let anyone but a specialist with brand new sterilsed equipment pierce me. I'd be too worried about contracting endocarditis again & having to spend another 2 months in hospital having I.V. every 3 hours - not fun x

Wasn't great. Had it for 6 months before they even realised what I had and was admitted to the hospital. Should have had 6 months recovery - i took a week and went back to uni... So u can see why I am very cautious around anything that has that sort of risk attached to it - especially with the risk being higher for me. I was discussing ear piercing with my cardiology Liason nurse the other week - she knows 2 patients that have died as a result. I think it's a no go for me then ;-)

Yeah, sometimes it can be horrendous. I've heard all the horror stories. I know someone who had their ear pierced at the top with a gun. Because of the speed and pressure it forces the earing through, it can really do some serious damage! The person I knew who got it done ended up having his ear amputated because the flesh and vessels and nerves etc were destroyed and the flesh of the ear died! It turned all black and then had to have it amputated.. Not very nice..

I've had my ears pierced with a gun, but that was before I knew the horrors of it, and it was at the bottom 2 piercings.. Now I will never have it done like that. In fact a while back I went for an ear piercing and the piercist looked at my ear to find a lump in one of my older piercings.. She had a little dig at it and pulled out a lump of blue plastic! It was in there when it was pierced! It musta come from the gun or earing when it was done!! Worrying!

    Holy hell that's scary stuff!!!!

I've never dared go for more piercings than the very boring one in each ear that I already have!  I really want the top of my ear done but the hepatitis and HIV risks really put me off!  For the same reasons I've been stalling on getting some tattoos done that I really want.  Does anyone know the best way to be absolutely certain the tatooist you're using is safe?  I'm confused by which regulatory/certification body to trust because they all seem to be affliated with different ones!

Seriously, KP. I dont think you should be so put off by those fears.. If you go to any liscensed parlour, you can ask to see their certificates for health and safety and the papers that say they are fully licensed etc. Everything is fully steralized before hand, and they should even be able to show you everything they do for precautions if you are still in fear of dirty needles etc..

Its the piercing guns I'm more concerned about..

As for infections, if everything is done to keep it clean before during and after the piercing, you shouldn't need to worry.

Oh! And make sure you shower/bath/clean the whole area and around where you are going to get pierced. If you get an ear piercing make sure to scrub your lugs well and wash your hair too. Mouth piercings, make sure your oral hygeine is good, eyebrow piercings etc, dont go in wearing make up. Simple things that a lot of people tend to forget about..

Yar I figure it's a question of knowing too much about microbiology...seriously studying all those diseases turns you into such a hypochondriac!

I really want to get a teeny-tiny butterfly done on the side of my chest (under my arm and near to my boob!)

I also want some personal words done on my wrist, and a "wedding ring" and and and....I think if I start getting tatooed I may never stop!
