I think it's normal in any long term relationships to have highs and lows, don't fret to much. I'm sure things will balance out a bit later on. As for samey... why don't you instigate something a bit different?

Something as simple as dressing up in your fav undies, killer heels and a smile may be enough to change things up a bit, remember the effort you used to put in at the start and try and rekindle that. (Just an idea not an instruction lol)
