We've found Maximus Anal Lubricant to be better than the durex ones for us, Here's our review of it.http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=13085&reviewid=30718#customer_reviews

What's the latest regarding good lubes? Using KY at the moment but want something better.

I need a water based one and a silicone one. Both will be used for anal and vaginal sex. I have three toys, one made out of ordinary rubber, one out of jelly and the last one is also made out of rubber (so it says on LH product page). Can I use a silicone lube with these toys?

I'm looking at Liquid Silk and WET Platinum. Alternatives include Maximus Anal and ID Millennium.

Cheers!

liquid silk gets my vote as a very slippery lube, good for masturbation or toys..  We also use astroglide gel for p in v, and that works well too.

Durex 2 in 1 for general use (good value and tastes quite nice) and Maximus or KY for when we get serious. Haven't tried anything silicon based yet, but I think it's worth looking into for using in the bath.

I just might go for LS for vaginal AND Maximus for anal regarding water based lubes, and Platinum WET for fun in the bath.

Used a dab of the Durex Feel lube again the other night. Hadn't had any action with sex toys or anything really in a good while, and it pretty much blew my mind when coupled with a vibrator!

I had almost forgotton how good that stuff is.

I have the Pjur silicone lube.. which was the best thing ever to train up with. Shame it's silicone based- it's wonderful and silky. I think I need to buy the water based Pjur lube..

Currently use good ol' KY. Not the most exciting lube but it's reliable.

As for oral.. I love the cherry flavoured durex lube. Nothing beats the taste and quality.

My wife and I favour silicone lubes for vaginal play. Eros and Pjur are good makes.

We once made the mistake of using a lube with a herbal stimulant in, but found the sensation to be distracting, and worse still she had something of a reaction to it afterwards.

The only trouble with silicone oil is that it makes nasty stains on bedding. Silicone oil feels warm when applied and has no taste. I often take a swig of the lube before treating her to a licking. She loves the feeling of my tongue and the lube. It also prevents my saliva from making her sore.

For anal play I'm a great fan of J-lube.

I see that there people here who use K-Y. I find that K-Y is very expensive, that it dries up quickly and that it's not very slippery. It has also has an upleasantly sweet taste (it's the glycerine in it I suppose.
