I'm a straight man who is happily married. I enjoy sex with my wife and enjoy the 'normal' type of porn a straight man would enjoy.
However, i have always had a curiosity about having a sexual experience with a man. Whether it be just playing around or full on sex. I enjoy gay and bi porn. I fantasise about gay sex.
I would like to believe that most men think about the idea of gay sex and get off on it. Or is this just wishful thinking, that I am not alone.
My queries to the men out there:
I'm curious how many straight men out there actually think about gay sex.
How many like me are in a relationship and would like to try a sexual act with another man.
How often do you fantasise and have you ever acted on it?

Sorry not me ,never even crossed my mind. This might be due to having a gay brother , my mother blames me for being overtly masculine. She says I left no testosterone for him. Hey what ever is your fantasy ,there is no judging her , that is why this forum exists. Sorry your first reply is a negative one

    It's not negative, Gentle Giant.
It's an answer to the queries. I'm not expecting every man to have gay fantasises, that would be crazy.
Thank you for your comments, take care.

I cant say i have personally ...... but i know there are a few guys that feel the same way. I even wrote a bit of erotica based on it, sort of.

Id imagine its quite common. It seems a stigma is attached to it though. Its like its absolutley fine for 2 girls to have sex, kiss or whatever and its relatively normal. If 2 guys mess around in the same way it suddenly, it some peoples minds anyway, becomes something more than just messing around. It automatically makes the men gay etc. Seems a double standard somehow.

Im very open minded but male gay or bi sex has never been something i'm interested in, not even in films, to be honest I would say your a bit more than just bi curious, my OH classes herself as bi even though shes never slept with a woman but because she loves watching girl/girl sex, she loves the idea of sleeping with another woman and admits if we weren't together she would have tried it by now as she has a friend who is equally as curious, its not something shes curious about, its something she would like to do if circumstances were right. Don't think you need to say your straight anymore on hear as there's nothing wrong with being bi, were all very understanding and open minded.

    Cheers wazza63.
I would like to take my fantasises further but I'm married, so feel like its cheating (a bit boring I guess). Also I'd like to try it with someone I am comfortable with. With that in mind, It'll more than likely stay a fantasy.
Glad someone out there has felt the same. Glad you are happy with your decision, I am too happy in my marriage.
    Thank you wazza63.

I'm a straight male who's engaged to the missus. I've never had any experiences with a guy before, but I definitely believe that sex with a guy coule be great fun. I've fantasised about it before, and enjoy watching bi porn. I would definitely be up for trying things out with a guy sometime in the future, with the missus's blessing of course :p

I think it's useful to draw a distinction though: I would happily have sex with a guy, but I am in no way interested in a relationship with a guy, nor am I really attracted to guys in general. I just think that sex with a guy could be great fun - it would certainly be more of a casual fun type of thing, rather than anything intimate.

Frankly, I'm sure plenty of guys have thought about it at some point, though few would admit it and fewer still act on it. The 'double standard' thing mentioned by Draven is definitely a reality, although it does seem to be changing a bit.

If it's something you're thinking of looking into more seriously, then I would definitely share it with your wife. It makes me feel a lot more comfortable with myself that I've told the other half I'd have sex with a guy, and that we're both cool with that :)

The wife knows and i, like you S&S am comfortable with the OH knowing. I wouldn't have sex with another person, because I am married. (A little old fashioned?)
Like 'yes man's' OH, I would have tried it if I wasn't with my good lady.
I do believe I'm bisexual, just untested, I guess.
    Thanks for all the comments.

Just want to jump in and say, yes it would most definitely be cheating, if it was done without your partners knowledge, consent or approval...and if that is considered "boring" in this day and age then...well ...erm!

There was a thread on the forums a while ago, about men who considered themselves to be straight, but who fantasised about other men. From what I remember, a lot of those guys who commented said that they did not want to be with a man, in a relationship, and did not think about good looks with regards to the mans face, and did not specifically see other men in the street and think sexual thoughts about them, but for some reason they often fantasised about giving/receiving from another man, oral and anal.

I don't know what it means. Maybe you are straight, maybe bi, maybe gay, to be honst, sexually covers a broad spectrum and I think you will rest much easier if you try not to attach labels to your desires and just enjoy them. As long as you hurt no one, there is nothing wrong with your fantasy. Thats my opinion anyway x Good luck

    Extremely well put.
You've said it all perfectly. Sexuality shouldn't have labels. I like that.

I would say it's perfectly normal to be curious. By our very nature, we are all curious about all sorts of things. Sexuality is not a black/white thing. Sure there are those that will say 'I am 100% gay/straight' but from my own personal experience, no one is 100% anything.

I'm sure you are probably aware of the work Kinsey did regarding human sexuality. If not, you might find the above link quite interesting :) x

When I was 19, I had a couple of experiences with other men. I think it was just curiosity as I've never wanted a relationship with a man, and not really wanted to do anything since. Might have just been a phase when 'growing' up, I don't know.

Echoing Draven, it seems that socially a woman questioning her sexuality is accepted and even encouraged but there is massive stigma attached to men being curious about same sex experiences.

Sexuality is such a fluid concept. Being comfortable in what you want and what you want to try is the only thing that really matters.

    (Besides genuine bisexuality...)

I think there's a generational thing going on with different levels of how common bicuriousity is, depending on age and other social circumstances.

When I was coming of age, you were what you were and if that was gay or lesbian or bi, cool. Then there was this whole bicurious thing amongst young women. And then older women too. Maybe that's extended to men as well now. It sounds like it from some of the things I've read.

I'm wondering if for some people it's more about understanding their own self in a sexual sense rather than actual want to do it attraction.

Just some thoughts from things other people have written in the last couple of days.
