I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering. And for those who don't know, I'm a bi guy.

So I'm on Fabswingers and normally within 30 mins, i have a guy wanting to meet. So it got me thinking, why are guys easier to meet?

Is it because they are ruled by their penis and woman are ruled by their heart? Or maybe (most men) don't care about looks? Or just the sheer ratio of guys to girls on sites like these, that ir's just a mathematical reason?

    Just been bugging me

Wow, there could be a whole new Lewson inquiry about this, 2000 pages of evidence! Well don't know about web pages, but as a straight man, out and abouts I do have a feeling women do pull easier, wether it is ruled by the penis or heart is another massive thread, but have seen men do it as well (and you don't have to look like David Beckham) so.... I don't know either. Good funny thread though

Just to play devil's advocate, while women may get attention on online sites, that doesn't mean we get it from the right guys, if that makes sense. I don't know the site mentioned but I looked into online dating a couple of times and it was rare for me to get attention from guys who fitted the bill for me in terms of interests, looks and age.

Simple rule of math, there's more men looking for a shag than woman... also, being bi seems to make a guy some sort of special rare thing everyone wants, I have no idea why, but it generally seems to go all crazy with people's fantasies, also you become a magnet for the "curious" who want to test sex with the same gender, apparently being bisexual means that you must LOVE to help out these curious people, over all I'd say there are many reasons for it, but for the most part it's numbers and the bisexual thing.

actually the number of bi guys nowadays is so much more as it is far more accepted, especially on swinging websites, I find it particularly hard to find a straight guy for me and my partner to play with, so i wouldnt say bi guys are rare at all.

there are lots more men looking for 'shags' than women. There are also a lot more women that will only play with a partner and not by themself. Also there are a lot more women wanting to experiment with other women and not men. Now the single bi woman willing to swing- that really is an elusive thing.

Funny enough, I met one this week.

My best mate is one. Trying to get her to join Fs at mo. Although I managed to get her onto Gaydargirls.

Safety. Meeting guys anonymously on the Internet for sex = dangerous, bad idea. Guys perceive themselves to be safer, or rather they don't perceive themselves to be in any danger. Women are constantly aware of their personal safety because society teaches us to be, and that it is our own fault if something happens to us.

Also, women who actually seek out sex are sluts, or so we're told. Though lots of women have shaken off this perception, lots of others still believe it. Men are rewarded for being sexually aggressive and promiscuous.

In short -- the patriarchy sucks, and that's why I'm a feminist ;)

    Standards, men dont have them.

Its been a while since I was single, but back when I was, I'd go home with the best looking girl naieve enough to believe it was a good idea to take me home

Girls would generaly have a floor.

No doubt there is some quasi scientific evolutionary arguement out there.

I agree that this has to change. I keep telling my friend she's "sexually active" and not a slut.

Most of the gay men I know have sex with women.

One visits a, house of negotiable affection, which I find endlessly amusing.

One wonders if its a matter of, perception.

How would you classify a person who has sex with both, but relationships with only one. The language isnt really developed enough (or maybe it is and I havent read enough of FL).

I find it particularly hard to find a straight guy for me and my partner to play with,

I for one would immediatly be wary of that, because every (not many I should point out) MF couple looking for a straight M I've interacted with, have been pretty clearly a gay man hunting with his female friend.

"When I was growing up they taught us none of that, internet safety was something they took more seriously than getting in a car with a stranger lol, it was gender neutral as well... but I guess the time's are changing and now a days that's how they teach it.

Also, at high school in modern studies the whole "women are sluts, men are awesome" thing was regarded as stupid crap from the dark ages! Slowly but surely the newer generations are being bettered educated, though change takes time."

I'm not talking about what they teach in schools, I'm talking about wider society, specifically the rape culture. Social forces are not explicit but they still exist.

Think bi or gay men are much more free and easy about sex together than males/females together. We go to swinger clubs as a couple and I go to men-only saunas. The sex is much more spontaneous in men-only places; you soon find someone, go to a cubicle, have sex then go your own ways, meet someone else and repeat.

When we meet another MF couple in a club, there's usually conversation before we go off to a playroom together, then often conversation afterwards. That's not to say you never swap and play and swap again, it tends to happen when there's a group in action.

Maybe it is due to female reluctance to be thought of as a slut, as mentioned above, or maybe it's a remnant of the male-female courtship thing?

As a single woman I would both agree and disagree, it is exceptionally easy to find a guy for one night stand but when that isn't what you are looking for, it is much more difficult, hence my agree/disagree. I don't want a one-night stand, that's not my thing, nor do I want a husband, I just want to have regular sex with someone who I have a few things in common with to have a laugh about as we share a chinese before lots of sex haha! Rarer than hens teeth tho let me tell you...

Seems a lot of guys have attachments and are just looking for one-off hookups to satisfy a need their partner doesn't meet, again, not my thing...

I have tons of stories about online stuff, but have yet to find what I am looking for... (Might be a song in there somewhere )
