I wish life were a LH Wishlist!

On Sunday I went up the road to ASDA and ever since have not been able to find my phone. I'm absolutely gutted as it was a pda my dad had bought me. I had hundreds of photos on there and hours of video- nothing kinky but times and people I will never get the chance to recover. Added to that there were over 4000 text messages on there from the past year which may seem excessive to some of you, but I like reading over the messages loved ones have sent me. My phone book had numbers in that only I have of people who now live abroad etc.

I've rang asda and retraced all my steps-i don't understand how/when it would have fallen out of my pocket but as yet have had no luck. My OH is trying to get me to use his spare handset so he can contact me etc, but I am refusing at the moment-somehow that feels like when I finally accept that, i'm finally accepting that my phone's gone for good.

So I've spent the last hour wallowing, sifting through LH's pages adding items to my wishlist, even thought I cannot afford any of them (a whole different story) and I was thinking how much easier it would be if life were a wishlist you could simply buy from, or have a generous benefactor gift you from.

Mine would most certainly have the following on at present;

**My phone
** A job to replace my dad's which has just been lost
**Money! Not a lot..just..enough at the moment.

Nothing else really seems important at the moment.

So what would you put on your life's wishlist? x

Curvy, hell on earth or what- !!

Every year the plods recover more mobile phones than you can shake a stick at but how the hell can they return them to their owners who often have only numbers to go on???

Did you know your IMEI number???

Press star hash 06 hash  and there is your number!!

Was it lost or stolen???????????

The shopper who found  it in Asda, lets be charitable, might hand it in anywhere!!!! it needs to be  traceable, a bag of ringing found phones can drive yer mad !!

Good luck,

Me.

Hi hun,

I had it in my jeans pocket and a long overcoat on, so doubt very much that anyone had access enough to steal it, however I'd have thought I'd hear it if it dropped to the floor. The last time I know I had it was at the till, and realised it was gone an hour after returning home. I'd gotten into my PJs as soon as I got in, so pretty much it was between the till and gettin in that it went missing.

I've checked my car and retraced my steps but should probably contact the plods too. It's no longer ringing when I call it but I was aware of a lower battery when I last had it. I also had it on silent so tracking it through sound alone was pointless.

As for an IMEI code, I didn't trace mine before it was lost. I urge everyone to do that now as I just feel lost without it.

How sad am i?!

I didn't expect to see such a heavy topic on here. (is heavey still the correct word or am I just showing my age?) But since its here....

I'd wish for an end to greed and and end to all religion.

with both of those gone there would be world peace and no one would want for anything.

and I havr to agree with Strapon about GWB

Let's see - I'll just wish to be deliriously happy at all times whatever is happening around me so I can really piss everyone else off  (permanently happy people I sometimes find infuriating but can't help admiring).

And if I'm allowed another then I'll have some wings or whatever so I can fly and soar about like the birds - especially the little kamikazee ones you see speeding towards ridiculously tiny gaps and then turning sideways and making it through at the last second.

Is your phone still gone?

I presume phoning it didn't work?  I suppose if someone bad found it, they might have stolen it, but fingers crossed.  It didn't fall out of your pocket when you got changed and is hiding under the bed?? wishful thinking!

I would have happiness for all, no hardship and more time for ourselves and our family/friends on my wishlist.

search your car with a torch!!  I have lost my phone a couple of times, retraced my steps etc and then found it tucked under the seat as it fell out a pocket.

I've checked the car, under the bed, the fridge, the freezer, the bathroom, thorugh my washing basket pretty much everywhere I cna think of. I still think somehow I'll find it and am putting off buying credit on a new sim card but I dont know if I will or not. Still i don't have the money to waste topping up a new sim card only to find the old one. I'd only just topped that one up and I need to use my money on petrol and food unfortunately.
