Well how about turning something relatively mundane into something a bit better. How about going to Tesco's/Sainsburys/Morrisons/Asda/Waitrose or whatever and taking your significant other with you. As you go round the store you squirrel away little things like sparkling/bubbly, choccies, flowers probaby a step too far, but you can get oils for fooling around with later. Hide them in the trolley and as you approach the checkout send the other half off to ask for a long wait at the pharmacy desk, or for a paper and pay for the items while they are away. You can spring them on them once home, and plead to having been a cheeky monkey for doing it..... may not be the best and most romantic thing in itself but one thing can lead to another!!!

On another note, I have done some romantic things in my time so here are a few:

- It was raining on the day we organised to go for a picnic in the park so instead we had it indoors. At night time. I stuck glow in the dark stars to the ceiling, put a picnic blanket on the bed, bought a cuddly toy duck and made lots of picnic style food including strawberries and cream and summer smoothies.

- I've taken partner's away and arranged to do awesome things that they may have never got to try before - new exciting restaurants, clay pigeon shooting, paintballing... all those things they talked about doing but never got around to.

- In the summer, I hired a projector, ran cables outside, set up my laptop and then played my partner's favourite movie, projected on to the side of the house. There's nothing quite like lazing around on a summer's evening, eating popcorn and running your toes through the grass whilst watching Cool Hand Luke!!

- I have sent all sorts of things through the post - love letters, presents, cd's, flowers, chocolates... it makes a nice change from all the bills that usually end up coming through the letter box!

- This Valentine's I'm going to lie naked on the desk and let Ruth eat sushi off me (shhh, don't tell!).

I like to spend the run up to valentines day doing all the housework and letting him have a lie in as much as possible as he normally does everything. Well, thought I’d update the forum on the weekends love plans for Mistress and I! Firstly, the monster that is valentines has grown from one day to the whole weekend. Its not only our 3 year anniversary of the day we met on the 10th, but valentine’s day itsself is the 1 year anniversary of us getting engaged. We were on holiday in Thailand and it was perfect – last night, beachside bar, cocktails and lots of candles.  Friday evening will consist of pampering including foot spa, scrub and rub, a nice home cooked meal and a good movie. I suspect you can throw in a couple of oral sessions for Mistress as well but that’s a bit normal! Saturday – Breakfast in bed naturally, then (weather permitting) it’s off out for the day with a picnic (I’ve got Friday day off to prep everything!). The evening will be Thai themed to tie in with the anniversary, so I’ll have a nice aromatherapy bath run for Mistress, followed by a home cooked Thai meal. I’ve then got a sexy treasure hunt for M that will consist of Heart shaped cards with clues on where to look next for her presents! I’ve also ordered some hot stones and coconut oil to give her a hot stone massage after play time. Finally as I said, it’s the book of the month to read to her whilst she drifts off to sleep!

My tip is not just for Valentines but all year around as love and relationships have to be worked on. Along with all the usual stuff, flowers, chocs, jewellery (these is a link on my profile to a site that dose top notch intamate jewellery), meals etc etc... take note of things your partner shows an interest in. if you are like me and have a swiss cheese memory that seems to be more holes than cheese, write it down (preferably where you can find it again but your partner wont).

For example: Mrs Hairy Biker and I were watching tele and there was a program on about the northern lights. Mrs Hairy Biker really sat up and took note of the program and even voiced how beautiful the northern lights were.

I took note and later noticed an advert in the local paper for round trip night flights from our local airport to go and view the northern lights. Not being in a position to have a holiday abroad this was too good an oppertunity to miss so I booked us on the flight. It wasnt cheep (about the same per person as a weekend away in a reasonably good B&B) but its only money and if I cant spend it on making her happy what is the point of working so hard for a pittance?

Example 2: This is more relavant to LH. Mrs HB is not a big reader, but she works nights as a carer so instead of her puzzle books I bought her lthe best of womens erotica which she enjoys reading. No person could be bad for loving sushi! I can't get enough of it! Although I have told Ruth that she'll have to go easy on the wasabi and soy sauce for the sake of my delicate lady skin...
