My man has hinted he might try a little role swap as I have always fancied trying on a strap-on. I guess a very small one would be best but perhaps I should be introducing something else first like a prostate massager or butt plug? Or if he's interested am I just going to put him off by saying Not yet? Can you just go for it if it's small enough?

Hi pine bunny, look for the anal sex threads and you will get plenty of advice, if he's up for it that's really more than half of the battle, just a matter of finding something that doesn't scare him off.... involve him in the decision making and don't forget to order the lube !!!

Try fingers first and then you havent spent money on toys you may never use again.

Then try one of the 'my first anal toys'.  My fella....hinted and we havent looked back...Now we are onto the strap ons.......and he is loving it!

We both chose the one we bought, after about a week of emails back and forth between us comparing the many out there.  We finally decided on http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=8569  and its a popular one probably due to the ease of use.  We both enjoyed it thoroughly.

Lots of advice on here via the forum and also check out the LH advice on what to use.....also look at the douching stuff....may stop some embarrassing events.....

And as TB says...plenty of lube!

JJxx

Ohhh the adam and eve one sounds good, we've used the Beginner's Strap-On Dildo but found the straps a pain sometimes and the o-ring holding the dildo was not really up to scratch. Anyone seen any vibrating (for the giver) ones that are not huge?

For strapon dildos, my experience is that it is entirely worth the money to invest in a really decent proper harness in which you can put any harness compatible dong.  If the harness is right, everything else should follow.  :)

I haven't seen any vibrating feeldoe-type toys, but I've heard there is a vibrating mid-size feeldoe out there somewhere, although I'm not sure if it is an actual feeldoe or another make.

Pinebunny, although you didn't mention prostate milking, please have a look at this, there is a ton of information there about male reproductive health, including extensive information about the anus and prostate.

Good luck.  :)

Thanks Lubyanka,

We've been searching for a good harness that would be comfy and compatible for quite a while now not to mention the vibration option. We've actually got the mid-size feeldoe which is good, the vibe however is not powerful enough to stimulate the wearer very much and it's still quite girthy probably because it is mainly aimed at female on female play and not anal.

The harness I have, which has never let me down, which is an absolute pleasure to wear and use after two years and still going strong, and which I expect to last for at least my lifetime, is this one:

If you want something less pricey, the woman who makes Beautiful-And-Damned leather is a real artist with leather.  I've had nothing but good experience with her work, but I haven't personally tried her dildo harnesses.  However, judging from the rest of her work, I think these harnesses are a steal at the price.  For some reason, I can't access her website ( www.beautifulanddamned.co.uk ) but the harnesses are also available here:

Regarding the vibrator in the feeldoe, have you ever considered swapping out the original one and replacing it with a stronger bullet vibrator?

Thanks Lubyanka I'll have a look.

I've tried swapping bullets with the feeldoe but for some reason the makers of the feeldoe decided to use a non standard size of bullet for strapless strap on and it's impossible to use any other bullet.

Grrr,  I hate proprietary sizes, especially when the original one supplied just doesn't do the job.  I'm glad there are now feeldoe alternatives, like the Fun Factory one.  Hopefully soon, FF will add a vibrating one to their range, and then you'll really be in business!

I would say if he's suggested it, give him a bit of anal fun. It's quite hard for a man to admit that sort of thing, and seeing as action are louder than words, I suggest you go for it!

It doesn't need to be a giant dildo....but even fingers or something will make him feel certain that you are genuinely up for it and that you want to do it!

Good Luck! x

I highly recommend them.  :)

I thought I would try bum play on myself first before asking the wife if she would do it after seaching the forum for advice I went for this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=9758 I must say i have used it couple of times and found it great with the lube.It seems to get you ready for something bigger which i feel I can now handle.

I hope one I can talk her into using a strapon as i like the idea of her giviing it to me.

A small plug is very good for beginners but also is the 'Backside Beginner' strap on if you want to get straight into action as it were as it's very slim.
