Kds will literally drain you, contraception or not. How are you feeling in general?

I would get a kid free night, plan a sexy evening with your fella. Buy some sexy lingerie, high heels. Light candles, soft music on and seduce him. Setting the scene and prepping will give your system a kick start x

Yeah, I took my implant out as it made my sex drive diminish to nothing. :( I know I didnt want any more chidren, but I'd opted for the implant...not celibacy!!!

I agree with Blueeyes82. Im not with my partner anymore, but I never felt right having sex when the kids were in the house...felt like I couldnt let myself go, so get someone to have the kids and relax :)

Maybe build up to a fab night...text/email each other naughty things, read some erotica, watch porn (if you like it)and work yourself up into wanting your partner.

    xxx

Hi Littlemiss, exhausting little darlings aren't they, and I only have the 1, as Jenkat said if you get someone to have them over night (or you always have that ear out for em) would be great and maybe you two could book in somewhere too, it's hard when you have a list of chores that you feel you need to do before bed and then sex is the last thing on your mind, at least if are somewhere else you can forget about it for a while. If overnight's not good, is there a friend who would have them for a play date one afternoon?

Be kind to yourself too, you are still you and mum as well and you still have that passion. It took over a year after stopping breast feeding for my hormones to settle and feel somewhat normal again, and that was without the pill or implant - as the ladies above have said it can play havoc with your systems.

    Good luck, hugs xx
