Although the title might be a tad premature, it's an interesting article on the state of porn and the effect the internet has had.

Pretty shocking that many of the women involved make more money from prostitution than the films themselves.

Paying for porn is an inconceivable notion for me. It's so readily available on the Internet for free, both legally and otherwise. I think there's also a mental block to the idea, porn is something cheap and a little bit sleazy, that you download just to get yourself off, but the idea of parting with cash for it seems like going too far. There are many better things to spend money on, that it almost negates the value of porn entirely. It seems like paying for porn is a bit like paying for sex, if you can't get it for free then you're doing it wrong.

I'm surprised that the article didn't touch on the notion of "gay for pay." Increasingly straight porn actors will end up doing gay work, simply because it pays that much better.

I agree, obviously the documentary itself will go into more detail. I think it's on on Sunday (but not sure).

It was definitely worth watching just for some of the hilarious comments that the porn actors came out with.

The content was pretty much the same as what was written in the article though, it didn't add much.
