I was once asked at customs where I was going

I said "home to see my wife "

    he said "what for"

I said "do you really want a description"

Lady customs officer said "do you have any pornographic materials"

I said "only whats between my ears."

I'm going to toddle off and let you two play. Yes, I am a mental health nurse, I have the BSc (hons) certificate to prove it. It might explain my attraction to this site. I like people. I'm a bit of a born voyeur. Nothing makes me happier than other peoples weirdness! Besides I want to see how long you're going to stay in the bin!

You know you could just turn the egg off? Yes you can get out of the bin.

Congratulations to your daughter. Finding a job in nursing is hard at the moment so I wish her all the best. Its a great job for the right person. It really isn't for everyone, in fact the saying "The best place to hide a tree is in the forest" applies to quite a few people I've met in the profession.

If like me she's doing it for the love of the people she works with it can be better to take a step down the ladder as a first job. I spent a year working as what they call a support assistant. The pay wasn't great but it kept body and soul together and I got to do what I loved. Rehab. In the "I don't wanna go..." sense of the word. It also gave me a foot in the door. The job I have now was never advertised which is often the way. Health care is incredably incestuous and it comes down to who you know not what you know when you want the good jobs.

Erm... I've noticed this happen a lot recently where there's a topic and it turns into causal conversation which isn't even related to the discussion.

I know it's not really my place to say this, but really you should try and keep on topic a little bit, or start a new thread, or use live chat. Or there's always this thread http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/community/forums/off-topic/395753-good-morning-afternoon-evening-part-7/

    =)

Laura she was a support assistant until new year then was offered the chance to do home visits which is a bit more challenging i think she still has another year and then wants to do her honours. If you have the time sometime can you contact off line I have a question about mental health....not serious in fact a bit comical but personal.
