Viagra or Cialis (not sure of spelling) work for some men but not for others. But as Illumine says the $5 online ones will not be genuine and may not even be safe. Cialis is about £10 a dose on an NHS perscription unless you suffer from a limited number of problems which qualify you for free meds for ED.

I think the issue with Viagra is that it only influences one element of the erection process and it's becoming increasingly obvious that there is a great deal more involved - including a reflex involving two muscles, the ischiocavernosus muscle and the bulbocavernosus muscle that pumps the pressure up way above the systolic blood pressure.

I recently wrote a quick note on the whole thing here:-

My recent experience strongly supports the idea that PF exercises (especially if done with EMS) work brilliantly with no side effects. My cock has its eye on the stars again 8-)=

I have used both Viagra and Cialis.

Neither will give you a spontaneous erection like the ones you had when you were 17.

What they do do is to make your willy more reactive when it is manipulated. In other words, after taking viagra, a little blow job will give you a nice stiffy, whereas if you hadn't taken it you might not get a stiffy at all.

Viagra has side effects as well including flushing and sweating, some people also say that their vision is affected with things taking a bluish tinge. The effects last 4-5 hours

Cialis lasts longer, with the effects lasting up to 36 and even 48 hours. I find it often gives me a headache. Use for more than two days running also gives me muscle cramps in my back.

Even so I would say Cialis is a more user friendly erection pill than Viagra.

I have heard that papaverine also gives excellent results. However, it must be injected into the penis.
