Subscribing to an on line porn site

Had a little trawl to see if there is a thread about this, but a lot of pages to go through. How safe are the sites where you need to subscribe for a month at a time?  They have your credit card details and can just renew your subscription every month unless you cancel. But do they act on your cancelation? What is to stop them debiting your account when they want? Strikes me there a lot of dodgy people out there in cyberspace willing to rip you off. Are there any sights that can be considered safe?  I guess Penthouse, Hustler, etc must be ok? There is a particular sight that looks good to me - Passion-hd - but can I trust it?

Any thoughts or experiences welcome

 Is there any particular reason why you need to subscribe?

There are plenty of free sites you porn, red tube and x hamster etc that cater for every taste. Do you have a specific requirement in mind that requires a subscription if not and you are worried about handing over details, why not stick to the free sites. 

 I have subscribed to many sites over the years and never had a problem with security or not being able to unsubscribe. Just make sure the merchant system they use is a reputable one. I haven't had a problem with Passion HD - its a great site

Thanks LMF but I'm in an area where broadband speed is very slow and those sites are painful to watch when they keep buffering.  I don't know about this stuff but I know some sites use a technology system that streams ok where I am like Passion HD

I have subscribed to several in the past Abby Winters, Velvet Esctasy and Met Art. I never had any problems. I always used a credit card so I had some comeback and if there was a non recurring option I'd always plump for this too.

The worst bit for me was on the first ever time I subscribed to one online the credit card company rang me up to seek my permission to activate it as it was unusual activity and I was asked if I wished to allow adult website use on my card. How embarrassed was I and give a very sheepish yes in response. I could almost the red WANKER in the corner of my account details screen at the bank!

I've been subscribed to bang bro's and there where no problems when I cancelledthe subscription and they sorted out the little bit of a refunf I was owed real quick

I know what you mean about the verification calls. I find them quite thrilling though. It's the same when I buy porn mags - it's clear to everybody ion the shop what I am about to do :)
