Why? The foreskin feels fantastic - I'd not want to part with it. Besides, doesn't it excite you being able to pleasure a guy to the utmost degree possible? With so much of his cock missing, that's not happening.

I met a young guy some years ago and he was circumsized. He didnt feel much unless i was really rough with him so it made for great sex. I loved giving him a blow job, shame he wouldnt let me go near his ass though!!! I cant explain why it was better, but it just was.

    ah.. the memories!!

Mind me asking why it would make for great sex if he could hardly feel anything? He must have rubbed you raw.

My OH loves it when I rub my tongue over the tip of his cock...i don't know why i refer to suck his cock but I would happily do it all day long lol....it drives him crazy so no less of feeling or sensation for him.

    I'm missing something.

Penis - foreskin = less penis.

If you diminish the penis, you diminish the sensation of the penis. If you think otherwise, alert the neuroscience community!

Perhaps you love sucking his cock because you love him?

I think he preferred for me to bite him/nibble his `head' because as he said he was less sensitive without the foreskin. But it meant that we could be rough - sorry, i could be rough when giving him a blow job or when wanking him!! This led to better sex - as the foreplay was mindblowing for both of us!!

Oh and i never loved him!! he was a toyboy/fuckbuddy.. nothing more

To rub my lips over the edge of his "head" used to drive my friend wild, no less sensation just different to uncircumcised.

It does seem to take much longer to make an circumcised man cum though

Why are you women so sure of a man's experience of sex? We wouldn't dream of being able to imagine how sex feels for you, least of all the effect a clitoridectomy (or clitoral hoodectomy, or labiaplasty...) would have.

Trust me - I speak for intact men: If my foreskin were excised, all forms of sexual activity involving my penis would be much less pleasurable. How do I know this? Well, would the amputation of your feet hamper your enjoyment of foot massages? Think about it.

I'm sure you're not trying to be offensive, but please do try to be more considerate.

we are not sure of `all' mens experience and we never said we were! just read what we say!

We are talking about `our' experiences. We enjoyed circumcised men! maybe you have issues with women who like `cut' men. Its not to say uncut men are less enjoyable - but in our experience!!

Why be more considerate - when we are just telling the truth? get over it!!!

It is a medical fact that circumcision causes the skin on the head of the penis to toughen (like hard working hands that don't wear gloves!) but I think sensation would still be individual to the man. When giving a blow job the foreskin isn't really an issue, it can just be held back if it doesn't retract so I'm not really sure why it would make a difference. Circumsicion is often justified by personal hygiene, I think you should be wasking properly anyway haha. I'm checking under there before I touch it with my tongue! As for whether it makes the cock look better, well, that just depends on the cock as well doesn't it. I went out with someone for a while who was cut due to medical problems in his teens, and I have to say his penis definately would never be described as pretty, but it did the job and I loved him so I didn't care.

I think if youre considering circumsision women aren't really the best people to ask. Each will have a difference experience and opinion. Kind of like the whole prince albert debate, personally I've never had so many orgasms, I mean I went from maybe one or two if at all after loads of foreplay, to atleast 10 or 12 everytime. BUT when I spoke to other women a lot said it was painful and they hated it.

I would imagine someone getting circumsised at an older age would initially be more sensitive without the protective sheath there, but as the head was exposed to more stimulation it would begin to toughen up and sensation to reduce again. I'm talking just general every day sensation rather than sex, ie clothes rubbing. Most men who are circumsised have it done when they're to young to know any different so I don't think they can make a valid opinion any more than an uncircumsised man can comment on what it would feel like if they had it done. Others who have had it done in adulthood would be the best people to ask. :)

I'm uncircumcised ....but I cant imagine the loss of my foreskin making all sex less pleasurable.

Are you saying you don't have any feeling in your foreskin? You have a frenulum, right? You've never felt a tongue on it?

Why do people talk as though the foreskin were numb? It's demonstably the most richly innervated of all the penile tissue.

Maybe Shiny appreiciates that the majority of sexual pleasure is mental and emotional, and the loss of a small amount of sensation FOR HIM wouldn't spoil the overall satisfaction of the act.

Talking percentages although the foreskin has a lot of receptors, it is by no means has the larger proportion of the receptors involved in the act of sex, or the recieving of sexual pleasure.

I don't think any of the men who have posted have suggested the foreskin is numb.

You make a most profound point. Does this theory of mental and emotional pleasure extend to the sacred clitoris, or...?

And who says it's a small amount of sensation? Relative to what? Have a look at this: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06685.x/abstract

My assertion is that the excision of the prepuce has been trivialised - people have spoken as though the only loss of sensation post-circumcision would be as a result of a "toughening up" of the glans resulting from permanent externalisation. Thus, it's implicit that the foreskin itself is of no erogenous value whatsoever , as its loss does not contribute to the loss of sensation. This is patently absurd.

    Do you have a foreskin?

I have feeling in my foreskin

    I have a frenulum, right

I'v felt a tongue on it.

.I wouldnt volunteer to have it lopped....but......It wouldnt be the end of the world to lose it.....maybe too sensitive at times

My opinion and I'm entitled to it I think.

Lilac is also entitled to her opinion..........despite not having a foreskin

You'd be 'too sensitive' after circumcision? Just what is one of us missing?

Pleasure receptors - pleasure receptors = fewer pleasure receptors. Yes? No? I need a drink. Want one?

Also, look at the stuff on this site: http://research.cirp.org/index-e.html It actually helped me to figure out why wanking the way I do feels the way it does. How many sites can you say that about?

It makes sense that you'd be too sensitive after circumscision (to begin with) because the sensitive skin is now exposed. But in the long run I think it's generally agreed that circumscision causes a loss of sensitivity. Due in part to the loss of sensitivity provided by the skin which makes up part of the forskin and in part due to the desensitisation of the nerves protected by the forskin.

I get your point - I fully agree that circumscision has been trivialised a fair bit, but people do make their own decisions. My issue is when people make it for their children but that's a whole different debate that has been discussed at length here before (which doesn't mean it can't be discussed again but I don't want to be the one that opens up that debate again). Do a forum search, there are some fascinating threads on the topic.

The glans would be rubbed raw immediately following circumcision, as it would have to adapt to a far less kind environment than suited for. Yes, that's true. But that's not the meat of it. It's the foreskin which contains the richest concentration of nerve endings (generally stimulated through stretching back and forth), and it's their loss that causes the massive drop-off in sensitivity.

Alicia, it's the foreskin that's the sensitive skin. The most sensitive skin. Of the two most richly erogenous parts, the ridged band (see last post) is excised completely, and the frenulum is excised at least partially.
