Is sex ok every day if ttc?

DTD every other day is meant to be more effective so i've read.

When doing the opks are the test lines as dark/darker than the contol line? I've used them before and get an alomost postive when i'm not ov'ing but then the test line is darker than the contol line when ov accurs, its never completley negative, of course everyone is different.

Hi Ronnie, we are busy ttc, Ive always read that every other day is the best approach although if you think you are headed towards ov maybe increase to every other day but sperm last around 5 days or so meaning you can have sex every other day and get two or three lots of the swimmers up there waiting for the golden egg to come out.  There is a channel four programme called 'the great sperm race', should be able to get it on 4oD.  Well worth a watch, very informative and if nothing else is a giggle seeing humans dressed up as sperm :)

When we decided to start a family I was working in Germany, I went home for a weekend and whizz bang pop my wife fell pregnant...A bit of a shock coz we thought it took months. The daftest thing was the midwives kept changing her due date when we KNEW exactly the weekend our daughter was conceived.

I recommend drinking lots of german beer during the week then drive for 12 hrs on Friday finishing at 2AM before trying on the Saturday morning, well it worked for us.
