Some skin types react badly, but maybe im lucky. I lather the stuff on all around, give it 10 minutes, use the plastic thingymabob to help take the hair off later and i'm as smooth as a billiard ball..

Sorry if thats TMI though! heheheh!

not at all, looking into how to get a smoother result. shaving seems to be the easiest option but razors can give a bad finish sometimes! wax seemed the logical choice, but wasnt overly keen for so many reasons! so good to hear some reviews for the cream. might have to invest in some after your recommendation!

Just as aside to all you lads considering waxing/shaving/etc etc, don´t forget to moisturise after, some of the creams can be fairly aggressive on the skin, even if they are sold as "mild" formulars, and theres no point really if you are going to all this trouble to be sleek and smooth if your actual skin is as dry and rough as sandpaper

I tend to wax back and shoulders for summer months, gf tried to do it once but was agony. Proper salon is best doesn't sting too much if you tense your muscles a bit. Takes about 20 minutes, but lasts a month or so. Wouldn't wax the sack or crack though, but have used hair removal cream - sensitive one followed by moisturiser - works fine but is a bit stubbly and itchy within a few days for but only for a few days. Don't leave on too long or it burns - read instructions. Sometimes tried to do back with it but can't reach all areas so end up patchy (not a good look!) Have also used razor down there, worked OK but you risk nicking yourself, not a nice thought...

That's exactly why I don't like shaving, even using a woman's razor I still get little nicks. Roll on next Saturday and my appointment at the waxing studio.

Well, it's done! and I feel smooth again. There were a couple of sharp tugs that made me wince, but other than that all was OK.

I am not supposed to bath or shower with any shampoos/lotions for the next 12 hours though, so will have to wait for a play with my new hairless balls.

I can't imagine ever using a razor again.

Its slow, leaves the worst end result (of wax, cream and shaving) and prone to error.

    Veet everytime for me

I just shave there but would be interested in a wax there must last longer but just thinking about it makes my eyes water!

i've been getting waxed for around a year, totally converted now....

i have it all off, balls, cock, ass crack and all around.... its a male hollywood...

boy let me tell you the sensitivity you get afterwards is incredible.. the pain is momentary, no wirse than and in some ways less than removing a sticking plaster..

but youve got to find a waxing specialist who does intimate waxing, the process is very different to getting your legs done

I'm exactly the same, I get my shoulders, back and cheeks done with the normal wax strips but then get my balls cock and crack done with the proper hot wax that you're supposed to use in intimate areas.

If you are going to get waxed down there you should go to a specialist, This is NOT a job to do at home otherwise it'll be bloody painful and worse you could tear your skin.

Its not too painful at all and lasts a long time, Both me and my other half are waxed and the feeling is great, so sensitive and lasts quite a long time.

Having shaved for years and tried creams I will never go back.

I really cant recomend it enough

...boring practical question: lots of you are making quite a persuasive case for waxing; nice finish, wondeful feel and above all a medium-term smoothness. I'm a shaver at present, and yes it does get a bit repetative, and is a no no round the crack -stubble there not funny at all. So I fancy giving waxing a go before flying off to the OH next time and wonder how long does it need to regrow (mm, not time) so that the wax gets 'purchase'? No point in forking out €xxyy if I remain stubbly because the wax had no grip! All tips gratefully received.

My specialist says between 1cm and 2 cm in length or approx 3 weeks since your last shave

it differs according to what type of wax the salon use, but the average length is 5mm, or the size of a grain of wax..

and hard wax seals around the hair and so grips it better and is less painful when removed too

the trained waxer will know what to do and how to get the best effect..

as for the bum crack bit, well apart from the odd positions you need to get into, because the hair comes out completely the regrowth is so fine and soft you dont have any nasty stubble round there...

from a practical point of view, its an awful lot cleaner in the loo!!, and once youve got over the initial shock of being naked in front of a woman (most salons are female led) its all done very professioanlly and she really isnt bothered at all about what you look like and if you get hard or not. these ladies have often seen more cock and balls than weve had hot dinners....lol
