I read on the BBC website before that if you can prove that you reasonably believe that you would not be caught whilst on a beach, then you wont be prosecuted! But if there are children around I think it can get very messy legally! Like sex offenders register and stuff! I think the majority of police officers and most people would laugh and turn a blind eye and I suppose if its in a deserted area it's less frowned on! Location is a very good point! Also anything that you can use to cover up what ur doing! The sea? a beach towel? a picnic blanket? or those really long skirts or maxi dresses to cover ur selves...hmmm and maybe discreet positions like spooning would be a good idea... and if all else fails I find it's quite easy to slip in a cheely finger whilst in public...
