Just saw this post... A quick translation request for anyone who can help! Non-sexual I'm afraid :) Off to a wedding in Italy next month. How do I say many congratulations on your marriage and all the best wishes for the future?

I will check btw just in case anyones tempted to write something sexual all the same :)

    Thanks!

    Grazie Mille :)

I'll try and learn it by heart! Is the stress on matrimonio or matrimon ee oh? Not sure if that makes sense...

Kind of like "matrimon ee oh", the stress is on the the first "o". You can hear it pronounced on forvo.com :)

I had the added problem of not knowing if the words I was learning were real Italian or Bergamasco which is almost Germanic. Dunno if it was a funny accent because thats all I really heard I did have some time near Piacenza Genoa and Lecco, I loved the place.

I was in Dalmine but Bergamo Citta Alta is one of the most beautiful sights in Europe especially at night.

    Welcome to the forum BTW
