No, it's because it is always a Sunday, so can't always be the same date. Like Mothering Sunday.

I don't know if this works for babies but I guess the waking up early is due to the light....in which case, would a decent set of black out curtains/blinds help at all?

Though be worth some research before investing as they can be quite expensive!

My body clock is out of whack so I have to use blackout curtains to get decent sleep as I only sleep well in the morning despite going to bed fairly early.

I think its kind of a trade off thing.  If baby wants/needs 10 hours sleep, and you want to have "grown up time" in the evenings, you put him to bed around 7pm.  He's always going to wake about 5am in this case.

We are lucky, as our little guy is sleeping nearly 12 hours, so we get woken at 6-6:30am every day.

we have black out curtains Ad and we put a quilt over the window to, but he still wakes up.

He goes to bed at 7 cos he can't stay awake any longer he is just to tired to do that, plus we wouldnt want him up any later, we need our peace to.

TC its been half 5 to half 6 the last couple of weeks half 5 is way to early, I try to get him back to sleep but it doesn't always work.

    TYpes of tea confuse me.

like what is the difference between darjeeling and breakfast.  I kinda get that earl grey had bergamot in it, but apart from that it all tastes the same!

If you take a lot of milk and/or sugar then that may be why you can't taste the difference?

Generally a breakfast tea is stronger, darjeeling much milder. Some can be very bitter and some more sweet.

Every tea type needs brewing differently - I'm very fussy about tea and can really tell the difference between a stronger tea if it's brewed as long as a milder one.

If you try teas black you may find it easier to taste the difference :)

Have you tried any Japanese tea Alicia? I'd love to try some as I understand its some of the best green tea there is.

Trouble is I looked at it in bags in my supermarket and it was hideously expensive. Maybe I should experiment with tea leaves...

Today I can't understand why I never get to bed at a decent time anymore! Just kidding - this place is just such a nice place to be

I can't say I have no - intrigued though! Leaves are a good option though - if you go into a Whittards of Chelsea then they have some cheap little tea stirrers that you put leaves in....pretty cheap way of enjoying lovely loose leaf tea :) and you don't have to brew a pot! We have a pot leaf strainer and a stirrer so we can make enough for one or two!

    I'm confused why some clothing lines do sizes 8 - 10 then leap to 12 - 14 and miss out 10 - 12.

The more confusing thing is when I look at size guides some say i'm 12-14 and some suggest 8-10. does make me wonder what the correct sizes for lets say a 12 or a 10 is rather than brand guides telling me different things.

BigPoppa, I haven't found many green teas in supermarkets that actually taste nice. Green tea only needs up to 30secs brew time and I tend to find the bags are rather bitter. Chinese gunpowder green is a popular green that can be found in a lot of shops, you only need a small amount of the leaves per pot or strainer. I'm much more of a fan of chinese white tea such as pai mu tan, this can be brewed for longer than green tea and tastes a bit sweeter.

I've tried a few Japanese green teas before and they taste wonderful. I wouldn't be able to tell you what leaves where used though because at the time my Japanese reading was very bad, but I have to say they really know how to package and produce their tea right as the leaves still felt fresh. There are a few that I've tried in the UK but again they are from smaller shops or specialists.

I also find that flavoured greens can be a bit strong, espically if it has jasmine in as this can be over powering. personally I like green and black tea mixes if I'm going for a fruit or flower flavour.

cheers for the advice ! I think this is something I'm going to experiment a bit with. Passion was sparked after going into a specialist tea shop where they only sold teas like this and had special menus and tester selections etc. Very interesting and some were lovely.

    Things that confuse me -

Why Ocean Finance think it's acceptable to advertise loans in the way they do - aimed at the moment at couples getting married.

Yeeees, why not get in to a shed load of debt for your wedding. Great way to start married life with our 2345% APR......
