'Sexy' straight jackets. I wouldn't be able to stop laughing. Anyone explain the appeal?

I can understand liking the restraint bit but I too don't think it's the sexist thing to use.

I guess I can't really disassociate it from mental patients of 1920's magicians with big handlebar 'taches.

I can see the appeal from the restraint POV but I know I wouldn't like it at all - I've had a phobia of mental institutions since I was young (probably due to being a bit mad and thinking one day I was bound to get caught by the men in white coats).

Exactly, I just can't see it as sexy myself. Doesn't help that the picture for it makes me think of Uncle Fester.

Good point... Perhaps because pate is so posh it doesn't even need an 's'.

    Do you have double glazing?

We found our room was always unbearable (even with heating) until we had double glazing fitted - it's made the world of difference!!

Are the vents shut on your windows? We're in a new(ish) flat & at the top of every window there are air vents. They let in a heck of a draft at ours when they're open. Also, are there windows in the communal hallway? Always worth keeping them closed wherever possible in the winter - keeps the heating bill down...

If you buy poison why doesn`t it have a "worst before" date on it?

some wines have a worst before date, cos they have to be laid (laid or lane??) down and allowed to mature and develop flavour :)

I wondered why some wines tasted foul, particularly home made ones.
