Why is it we have the weight of the world on our shoulders but have to get it off our chests?

Why anyone would put dirty nappies (unwrapped - thanks for that) into the communal recycling bin rather than the empty general waste bin.

Why anyone would let their children play unsupervised in the communal area of flats with a broken (by them) front door.

Why same anyone would shout over their screaming child (3-4 yrs old) "I'm just going to Northampton to get some weed, I'll be back in less than an hour" Loud enough for a neighbour to hear it over their tv.

Why I have to clamber over 3 children's toys, 2 pushchairs & a bike to get to my postbox when the tenancy agreements clearly state that nothing is to be kept in the communal areas.

I detest her. The sooner she's gone the better. I worry for all the children who are being brought up by her & her friends. (Yes, I'll admit to jealousy at the ease with which they've had said children)

    Ok, rant over.

Swimming, bathing or showering I reckon - unless it's been even rainier up north than it's been here...

    It's behind the 'drum'.

Makes it crackle when ever I swallow and I can feel the pressure behind the drum. Ouchy.

Don't worry, WandA is just being OCD again, and correcting his own grammar, ie not "hope your ok" but "hope you're ok"

There's a thing called the Eustacian Tube (sp?) that drains the inner ear to the back of the throat. That's what makes your ears pop when you yawn or swallow, and why the hostesses are supposed to offer you something to suck on when you go down in an aeroplane. Sorry, UP. Up in an aeroplane.

    Where was I?

Oh, yes. If the water is really inside the ear, try yawning to INCREASE the pressure slightly, then lie on your good side. To help it drain, pinch your nose and sniff gently.
