Ha - that made me laugh!

Why the Co-op delivery man thought blocking the last junction before a closed road at 5.45 (rush hour) was a good idea - pillock.

Why dropping one thing means you *will* drop at least another three (and if anyone says anything about breaking matchsticks or things coming in 3s I will hurt you :P)

Why I agreed to work tonight.

Why people drive like dicks in the rain.

Why it only starts raining when I need to go out...

YES! My old Nokie used to light up, vibrate, and beep when low on battery!

It confuses me why people need to put lol, or similar acronyms (LMAO etc) at the end of EVERY sentence - even ones that aren't funny.

Did you laugh when you wrote it? No

Did I laugh when I read it? No.

So don't put it there. Just leave it.

It confuses me why I struggle getting up for work at 8, yet on my days off I easily wake up wide awake at 8, and can't go back to sleep. x

I've given up trying to sleep if I wake up at 4 I get up at 4 and go outside in the open air take dog for walk,

I might go back and cook breakfast for snoring guest if he's lucky

I think I need to do that instead of going back to sleep- i always feel more tired when I wake up the second time round. x

Just debating whether guest was good enough to deserve full english or just to get toast & coffee,

must admit I could enjoy bacon & egg

Sounds like he only deserves toast and coffee! If he was really good there are apparently better rewards

I hate when people do that. Personally I've never used the acronym "LOL" and I never ever intend to.

I don't mind using it, but using it in lieu of punctuation does get into slap-deserving territory. Seriously, some people out there must have permanent jawlock with the amount they're supposedly laughing!

Although it does amuse me with LOL in particular, considering it was once used for "lots of love", which is how my mother still uses it. Much hilarity ensues when someone says something bad and she responds with a LOL.

I take pride in never actually 'lolling' once. Never have I ended a sentence with lol or its bastard brother. I have put 'lolling' or 'for the lols' but I'm never self referenced a lol is perhaps the best way to put it.

*High fives to the non lollers*

(Waits for some sarcastic bastard to lol at this*

I will "lol" if I actually laugh and only then - although I'm inclined to avoid it more and more due to people assuming I'm not actually "lolling" when I write it.

WandA never believed I used it genuinely until we started speaking on webcam - then he realised I laugh and smile a lot!

ok, well then I'm guilty as charged with LOLs!

I tend to use them a lot in emails or forum discussions, just to show that I'm not being totally serious, or I'm kidding about. This is probably because in the past I've had "off the wall" type comments I've made taken the wrong way. If I'm posting something serious, then the LOLs disapear, but I think they can be a useful way of indicating a bit of tongue in cheek humour.

Maybe that should be tongue in (something-else) on this forum though!
