So I saw trhis thread here http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/community/forums/sex-tips-and-talk/1379352-sex-toys-on-a-budget/ and thought it was a good question for those of us that are fairly new to the market. However the OP of that thread was female and thus all the suggestions were for her.

So I thought Instead of being an ass and hijacking her thread, I'd create another one for men.

So, as a beginner who would rather not spend a ton of money on the unknown, what would you suggest as a good starting point for me?

http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/special-offers/6531/ there's currently 30% off on toys for men and I think you'll find something suitable here. A stroker or realistic toy if you're interested in those would be a good place to start and there are some fairly cheap ones on that offer. If you're into or curious about anal play, then the BASICS butt plug would be a good cheap option to try out.

A Tenga egg was suggested on that thread. I would definitely suggest those as a budget option.

I'd also reccomend the Lovehoney realistic strokers as a starting point in realistic toys as they're the best quality in that price range, imo. Like this one:

I'd pop these little lube bottles in as a good lube option too:

Though with males toys you always have the added expense of powder as well as sex toy cleaner, it's not worth skimping on it but if you do at the very least get the powder (since handwash can work as cleaner):

You could also grab a lube from the 3 for £10 instead of the Liquid Silk and something else, like the masturbation cream or even a butt plug.

Thanks for the suggestions. That Elle stroker looks interesting.

The Tenga eggs are on 2 for £15 I think so that's a good option but they're recommended one use only (proper care can make them last longer though), otherwise can I would point you to Eva, super tight and life-like, incredible orgasm according to my OH! Think that one is around £15 at the min 😄
