Hi there and welcome to the forum!

Sorry to contradict your post but my inner geek and inner feminist are both twitching violently!!

Freud wrongly suggested that clitoral and vaginal orgasms were seperate entities (he even had the nerve to suggest that women who could only achieve orgasms through clitoral stimulation were immature). Luckily in the 60s he was proved wrong by Masters and Johnson who showed that it doesn't matter how you get your kicks (through penetration or clitoral stimulation) the phsyical responses and resulting orgasms are the same! Subsequent research supports their findings and no evidence has ever been found supporting Freud's idea that there are "clitoral" or "vaginal" orgasms.

I could rant all day about my distrust and dislike of Freud but I'll stick to one sentence of rage: the guy was a penis-obsessed mysogenist who I think invented the idea of seperate orgasms as a way of making women who couldn't cum through penetration feel bad about themselves.

    End of waffling!

But more than one "type" of orgasm exists right - or at least it feels that way?

Maybe different types of stimulation lead to different "types" of orgasm, which then feel like they are 2 different things when in actual fact the 2 are the same?

You tried one of the amateur porn sites? I imagine there's something there!

I've moved onto French porn. Everything said in French is sexy.

When I think about it, every single orgasm I've ever had has felt different and there's a million and one variables.

It is hard to let yourself go when you're thinking about not peeing. Best way to do that is go to the loo before you start so that you know it can't be pee, then prepare the bed (cheap shower curtains and a couple of towels under the top sheet is a good solution) and try to relax and let it happen. Attempting to do it is often counter-productive.

Someone asked where does it come from - from the urethra. I have no doubt at all that the girls who act like jetwashes in porn films are on the whole peeing or shooting out a liquid put in there...but that's no different from fake moaning and incorrect cunilingus technique 'all for show'.

My understanding is that if she does hold it in, the liquid is absorbed back out of the urethral sponge and into the bladder, hence why we ladies often need to pee after sex.

I too like to learn what I don't already know and I went to read up about squirting. There are some really useful sources of info. If anyone wants to know, message me and I can direct you.

I understand from different sources that it is thought to be an equivlalent fluid to male prostate fluid. The motions people have described are best to cause squirting - getting the girl aroused then firm pressure to the G spot, either with toy, fingers or what he's equippped with! If using the fingers, it's described as a firm 'come hither' motion. The G spot will swell with fluid and he is almost 'squeezing' it out when he does this.

Someone asked whether G spot orgasms are different to 'normal'. By normal, I took that to mean a clitoral orgasm, which is pretty much just centred around that area of the body, with some muscle tension etc. A vaginal orgasm affects the whole body (like the red tube video link, although not necessarily so over the top) and a woman can have more than one of these when she may not manage more than one clitoral orgasm due to sensitivity.

I found out by accident that I could squirt while playing with a couple of toys - I'm yet to re-create it with assistance but can't wait.

For shame, Estonian is not one of my talents. But I'm sure that is utter smut.

This is a vital sentence for any Spanish students who find themselves on the set of a porno:

No me importa mirar, pero prefiero no participar.

Roughly speaking: I don't mind watching, but I'd rather not join in

Hi KP (sorry, can't get this thing to 'quote' sections I'm responding to so doing it manually...)

Both my own experience and things I've read in the interests of research tell me they feel very different. Now, what the biology behind them is, who knows...I'm sure the wiring all connects together somewhere, but they are different in feeling to me, certainly.

Mind you, I'm a lucky bunny that I can have several clitoral orgasms so yay for me LOL. I've had minor clitoral orgasms that were fairly mild, through to ones that rocked my socks off, but still feels different from the monster ones I have had other ways.

By the way, I'm not mad on Freud myself :D

Yay for a fellow anti-freud...he really does make my blood boil!

Reading back my post sounded highly ranty, sorry if it upset you at all. I just went into femininst and nerd mode!

My orgasms do all feel different to each other but it doesn't seem to depend on how they come about (pun vaguely intended!) ...I can squirt from clitoral and/or penetrative stimulation and sometimes my orgams are just one intense wave of pleasure, sometimes they are pulsing but it seems quite random which happens and when!

Bodies are weird and wonderful things!

I've become a bit of a squirter myself recently. I'm still convinced it's pee though...

KP, no offence taken (I'm well used to 'text without context' intonations :)

I was only clarifying that I'm no expert on the inner workings and why, just that those two types feel very distinct to me. I do agree though, the others run a spectrum.

BumLovingCriminal - I can confirm, no it's definitely not pee (excluding the porn film fakers who might be).

Yeah, it does feel like you need to pee, doesn't it - to the point of it being incredibly uncomfortable I've found, which I've said in other posts on this thread. It's a funny business! My OH went to stimulate my g spot the other day but I found any pressure very painful so he stopped. Previously I have squirted on a couple of occasions but didn't actually feel like I'd had an orgasm. So I'm not sure it's something that suits me really - even if I can actually squirt! We'll perhaps try some other times and see what happens.

I have squirted before but very very rarely, and no, its not pee.

I think you do need to be relaxed, I'm not as relaxed during sex as I used to be in more innocent years which is a shame really

Hopefully with time I can get it back and just relax and let go. I'm far too controlled and controlling in my life right now to have the wild abandon required.

Congrats to all that can, and can I just add, a woman squirting is SO hot. Love it

BLC - I can say with 100% certainty that when you "squirt" it is NOT pee.

I had to have some tests carried out several years ago and one of them was having dye injected into my bladder. It turned mey pee a very startling shade but it took a while to clear out of my system but when I did "squirt" that night (I was curious to see what colour it would be, odd I know but I don't get out much), it was most definitely not blue like me pee, just the same clear, watery liquid it always is.

I hope this helps, especially if anyone is worried they are wetting themselves, your not !.

I still can't figure out how, when I am usually alone when I do this, I still end up with the wet patch, I think I need to learn how to aim .

I think pee wise - just look at it in the same way as men - they ejaculate via their urethra but it's certainly not wee is it? Why would it be any different for women? Although (having not squirted before) I'm not sure if it does come from the urethra in women, I would imagine it came from a gland seeings as women have no prostate. Either way - it's unlikely it's wee!

Am I the only one who's not that fussed about attempting to squirt? It just doesn't appeal to me, but then I am OCD so I think the mess doesn't appeal.

I wanted to explore my G-spot and a by-product of this seemed to be that OH made me squirt a little bit - however, as I've said, I didn't really feel I'd orgasmed. So, even though I have squirted, I'm not sure it's something I'm that fussed about...
