If you were seeing a guy, then slept with him for the first time and found him to be waxed bare downstairs would this surprise you, shock you, turn you on more, find it sexy, find it a turn off. Just interested at ladies opinions

Love it. Not because of looks persay but because there's no bigger turn off than going down and getting a nose full of smelly pubes, they feel gross and smell like armpit hair.

Personally I am an advocate for waxing - we both get waxed and love the feeling and look of the smoothness.

The thing with hair removal though - which many people dont get - is that it can go massively wrong especially for guys.

Being a naturist and having attended many events as such I have come across my fair share of naked people. Where is goes wrong is when a guy removes the hair down there (by any means) but does nothing with the rest of his body hair. Literally I have seen extremely hairy men with a bald patch down there, which then just screams out 'look at me!!!". This sort fo thing looks ridiculous. You wouldnt just shave a bald patch on the top of your head would you, so why do it there and ignore the rest of your body?

If you have an issue with body grooming and trimming all over then that needs to be addressed.

Personally I get waxed and then will trim everywhere else so I looks like I naturally have less hair on my body. Yes it may remind people of porn films etc but dare I say it only reminds people of porn because that is where they are used to seeing naked bodies the most hence the association. On the virtue of the porn association you could then say seeing a woman who goes about 'au naturel' reminds you of some old cringeworthy 70's soft porn.

A lot of men go through a lot of anxiety with body hair and public image - so my advice would be to appreciate and enjoy the fact that your man takes some time and effort into his body image - especially when in the media all you see is smooth skin and chiseled jaw bones etc ;-)

I'm antique enough I came of age before humans lost the ability to cope with pubic hair.

I'm also weird enough that I care more about what's inside than the packaging. Will someone who puts that kind of importance on his appearance accept that I'd rather spend my time and money on other things like books and concerts? Or will he decide that he can 'do better'?

If he's willing to accept me as I am, then I'd be willing to accept an unnatural baldness down there on him.

Men shaving their pubic region is my BIGGEST turn off, to the point where I'd walk away when he pulled his kecks down. I don't want a man that doesn't have a personality of his own, nor the confidence and so follows what every other man is doing. Men are meant to be rugged, fab, natural and brill. This society is making men more and more effeminate and I just do not find it attractive.

-----------The only exception to this is pro-cyclists, as they shave their legs/arms/chest in order to increase their aerodynamics

Please, men, be yourself and stop being pressurised by crazy women who don't seem to actually be sexually attracted in men.

Also, I love the smell of mens pubes, as they smell of men, and I am sexually attracted to men!!

Each to their own but for me I totally agree with fistinglover69,aka Hannah. My OH has a hairy body, chest, legs etc. He waxes during the summer but goes au naturelle in the winter. I love curling up with him and playing with his hairs. Love his hairy balls, find it comforting and a turn on.

So the fact I shave because it feels much cleaner and more comfortable is not a valid reason for you? Your entitled to not like it but your not entitled to belittle every man that does it.

Please men, be yourself and choose what you want to do with your body and dont be told what do by someone on a forum.

    +1 each to their own

my OH doesn't like shaving, he trims sometimes, but it's uncomfortable to be clean shaven so I'd never make him, he does what he wants, it doesn't mean I don't enjoy going down, I'd just enjoy it more if he was bald lol

I trim every week and I shower every day - never have a problem with 'smelly' pubes! I went 'bald' once and I hated it - I felt like I was a kid again. No, I prefer a little bit of a bush. Then again, I have a thing for hairy dudes (and my OH is deliciously hairy).

Me and my husband go bald, I really don't like the feel of pubic hair at all, and I much prefer giving oral sex when he's totally bald down there, it means I can stimulate his testicles easier with my mouth which he likes a lot.

He doesn't shave religiously and it occasionally gets a few weeks growth, but this doesn't bother me at all, because it never gets to a stage that I don't like.

I've never had an issue with him having "smelly" pubic hair, or anyone else with pubic hair for that matter. Hair doesn't smell, but can make the area warmer and it can sweat more. As long as the area is kept clean there shouldn't be any nasty smells, so don't let that be a factor in your decision.

Most of the guys I have been with prior to getting married where all either completely shaved or very very minimal down there. When I first met hubby he was all natural and I hated it.
Nothing worse that getting a face full of fuzz every time you give oral. And no matter how much you wash... Pubes smell!
Hubby soon got told to trim it all down and it's far sexier now.
Plus grey pubes are embarrassing too so better to get rid of them lol

I wouldn't object if my OH waxed it all off, but equally I wouldn't mind if he was completely au naturel. He's currently trimmed it down and I'm used to it that way.

My OH trims and keeps himself neat.. He went completely bare once and didn't suit him as the rest of him is furry, I love the fur but glad he trims what he needs to. Never had an issue with smells in that general area with him or anyone else for that matter

Personally I am completely shaved and love it, so does the other OH who asked me to do it, and I have never looked back. She prefers to give me oral and including teabagging now.

Finally persuaded her to go 'hollywood', as I prefer to go down on a her when she is sans bush!

At the end of the day, its all personal choice, and it does grow back!

For me it depends entirely on the guy in question. Some men can pull off the entirely hairless look, and it actually really suits them, and for others it looks frankly ridiculous and they should stick to just a neat trimming.

I have to say that in general pubic hair and armpit hair are the only places where I actually like there to be hair on man, and I find it quite sexy there. I especially love it when they have that strip of hair running down from their navel, and you follow it to the top of the trousers, and as you start to unbutton them you reveal the pubes, and it all acts as a visual teaser for what's about to come next.

I'm not going to kick a guy out of bed for being hairless though, a bit of variety can always be fun.
