Can condoms be sexy?

I think that condoms are really hot. I enjoy the process of putting it on, it feels like a part of foreplay... especially once you master the "on with the mouth" technique.

I guess I'm a creature of my upbringing- I find bodily fluids to be sort of gross unless I know that person well enough to know their STI status and who they sleep with. Precum looks like drooly germ juice, ick ick ick! But then, I have a fetish for latex...

Additionally- if you're not feeling anything with condoms, you're probably getting the thicker ones or a wrong size. I recommend checking out www.goodvibes.com and their condom advice, which is really sound, and will give you some ideas on different sizes and shapes.

I'm sure condoms are sexy if you are used to using them, and if you can master the 'on with the mouth' trick you guys mention then all to the good, but seeing my OH's member squeezed into shrinkwrap packaging doesnt fill me with excitement, I end up feeling sorry for the little fella, and his penis, yak yak.
On a more serious note I'm on the pill as a result of finding condoms incredibly unreliable for our active sex life, we've had them come off (inside me - EEK! were easily found but bang goes any contreceptive value) and split on more than one occasion. The thing that puzzles me about this is that we're careful and we've tried bigger ones (that slip off) and the more snug variety (which are to tight and he loses sensation)
Since going on the pill I wouldnt look back, and when we do occasionally use condoms (if i've forgotten a pill) I find I cant relax because I'm worried about the above mentioned problems and the fact that he might not be enjoying the sensation as much. I dont like the feel of condoms myself either. All in all theyre an essential at times, but for me, not at all sexy, sorry happycamper!

Hmm I'm ambivilant towards condoms nowadays.

I don't think they looks sexy- in fact the coloured ones just look silly- but they're not the passion killer some people make them out to be for me. And trying the different ones can be fun.

Think I'll stick to bareback and the pill though. Makes things flow smoother, and prevents any of the condom droopage I've had occur before.

I think they're bloody awful. I don't have any particular opinion on what they look like... by the time I get to that stage I just want it in me, but the vast majority of them are noticeable, and sometimes they come off, or slip, or burst... they can be so unreliable that I'd never rely on condoms alone for contraception - long live the Pill!

I agree with crayola, they don't have to be a passion killer, if you just put it on quickly with no fuss and get on with it, then they don't make much difference, but I've yet to find a perfect one. Durex Elite are pretty good for not being able to feel them, for male and female. And they don't make daft noises!

Obviously it's great if you can use the pill, but if you need to protect against STIs as well if you're having casual encounters, we've just got to find a way to use condoms that doesn't get in the way. Putting it on with your mouth helps address the faffing that they cause.

I totally agree that condoms are necesary for protection from STIs and would never take the risk with a new partner, but I hope someday they come up with the perfect condom for everyone in terms of fit, effectiveness and sensation. I hate the plasticy feel. Can anyone suggest a condom thats the closest theyve found to going 'bare-back'? Much appreciated,

I must say that I really dislike condoms. They serve their purpose when you're afraid of getting pregnant, or you don't trust your partner to be free of any deseases, but in a steady relationship I'd do allmost anything to not having to use them.

They look silly on, they feel horrible (I get dry and sore from them),and when he pulls out it's the most grose feeling in the world. Completely destroys the whole act!
In short: Condoms are a sure turnoff for me! I actually prefer not to have sex at all if the alternative is using condoms. I hate the buggers :P

I allso find pornfilms using condoms to be a complete turnoff.

Therefore: When we're done with all childbirths we want, my hubby will do a little snipp-snipp and we don't have to worry about it ever again :)

Given my new circumstances I am once more back with condoms (Mr M and I do very, very occaisionally use them but it tends to be more on contraceptive/medical grounds. So for me now, condoms = the promise of hot and horny, brain-addled sex.

Thanks to my very helpful Prince of Darkness, I am now mastering the art of putting one on with the mouth (Blimey! all the fun I've been missing for the last 13 years!)however, I really wouldn't reccommend the trick I tried last week on Mr M- forget trying to put one of them there Delay condoms on with your mouth- my tongue and lips went so numb I was incapable of speech. Come to think of it, that may have been Mr M's way of getting me to shut up for a bit.

Anyway; Can comdoms be sexy? Yes, I think that they can if you mentally frame them in the right way. No condom = no nookie; no nookie makes Mercuria a miserable bitch. Therefore, the very presence of a condom in the room makes me feel all hot and bothered.

I adore pulling this move. Especially the first time you introduce it to a gentleman. Until I mastered it with the condom completely in my mouth (the ring in front of teeth whilst pressing the tongue up against the resevoir) I used to squeeze the condom's tip between my lips and then roll down from there.

I think it's a shame when people don't take full of advantage of the 'rubber moment' and let it become a sudden halt to everything. Even if your man has to stop everything and focus a bit you still can pay attention to him and keep it sensual.

I love condoms! They can add something extra to a cock if you use ribbed or studded. They're great for me with the pain I suffer as they pull my parnter in an make him slimmer when I'm having a sore day! They also make life easier for cleaning up too :P

I hate them. Had to use one a few days ago due to changing contraception. The smell is a turn off for me and I don't like the feel of them when inside me, plus I hate it when I touch it and my hands get greasy. Eugh!

I hate condoms myself. My OH cant seem to find any which go on even the extra large ones dont fit. Also I find that he goes soft and cant come with them on.

Also we have sex around 4/5 times a day when we are together and condoms are just too much hassle and a mood breaker for that.

The smell of condoms is absolutely awful, and Mr BLC says he can't feel a thing with them on (although I think he's trying to say I'm not exactly virginal anymore, cheeky sod!), so nope, I don't find condoms sexy. I only ever managed to put one on with my mouth once, which did make it a little more erotic I suppose.

 I don't find them terribly sexy, but then I don't find STI's or the morning after pill all that hot either, so now I'm a single (and fairly promiscuous!) gal, they're really the only option. Once I'm back in a relationship though, they're out of the question for me.

I recently used one of those polygobbildygook ones. i.e not rubber.

Wasn't very impressed, did feel warmer though which is a plus! I just miss the feeling of those lovely lady juices to enjoy condoms properly!

I hate condoms. I just can't stand them. They smell awful as BLC mention above, and the way they are kinda greasy as LMH said.

As for attractiveness? The way they get kinda rugged up and wrinkle over, its not a particularily pleasant sight.
