Whoa there private, was looking at my watch- lets not get into GMT which is only right here 6 months of the year l seem to recall.

Scotland - "great for skinny dipping", if you want things to fall off because it's so cold or get bitten off by the flying things. Go to TX or AZ or CA and swim in your own pool any time of day or night in what ever state of undress.

There normally is only two weeks a year when TX is not 6 hours different because the US does summer/winter time (usually) one week out from the UK (and I always seem to be flying that weekend).

The guys from Canada would come down to Texas and be wearing their shorts in winter because 'this is warm where we come from' (I've been in Calgary in August with snow storms) - if people want things to fall off then far be it from me to interfere.

i went to vancuver and i was on the beech in my shorts it was hot, then went up the mountain and skied, with plenty of snow in the middle of the summer...

You can do the same around Calgary, one July 4th we popped up to Lake Louise (to escape the heat) and it had just dumped snow.

 Another July 4th we went out to central CA and the road was closed with 14' of snow and it was blazing hot, I bought my first pair of sun glasses.

No midges on the East Coast PM.  Yeah it's cold and wet but so is so much of the UK!

I know, I know, coming to this thread far too late, but for the record, me and the OH are also in West Central Scotland. So now you know!

London, as central as you can get. That's still pretty vague, though; which suits me fine! :-)
