It may only be three days in to September, but I've read this little beauty already.  I'm not a huge fan of short story collections, but Seriously Sexy is...seriously sexy! 

I'll wait until some more people have shared their comments before adding my two penneth.

I do like sexy but would also like a bit of filth in there as well - is there?

There is plenty of filth in the mix too! I got Mr. LoveHoney - Carly to read a few out loud and by the end he was blushing... which isn't an easy thing to get him to do!

Gargh - it's taken me a while to finish this, had a ridiculously busy month, but I will review this over the next few days! Really enjoyed it though!

What did you like or dislike about the book?

I like short story collections - so that's a winner. I wouldn't say I disliked anything in particular... just that some stories are better than others, but then that's just my personal taste.

Were there any stories that particularly stood out to you?

I liked Impressionism - very naughty. And Pubslut. Both appealed to my kinkiness!

Which was your favourite sex scene and why?

The 'punishment' in Pubslut just because it's kinda one of my fantasies....

Do you think any of the short stories could be made into a full erotic novel?

Yes, I think with some work, any of the scenes can be worked into a full erotic novel, that way you'd get more of a feel for the characters and their lives as opposed to 'snippets' of their lives.

Do you think all of the different authors and themes worked well together or did you feel it was disjointed in anyway?

No, I don't feel it was disjointed. The whole point of a short story collection is to have some variety between authors and stories. It wouldn't do if they were all the same now, would it?!

Do you think this book appeals to men as well as women?

Well there are male contributors, so presumably the stories included would appeal to men too. I suppose there's only one way to find out... ask a guy!

How do you think Xcite's efforts compared to a well established publisher like Black Lace?

I think Xcite and Black Lace are different in their approaches - but I regularly read books from both publishers! But I do tend to read more full length novels from Black Lace, but possibly because I have favourite authors. Xcite are doing a great job of getting some new authors and material out there - keep it up!

Would you be interested in exploring the more specific themed erotic short story books from Xcite such as Bad Girl, Juicy Erotica or Tie Me Up?

I've read two of those already, and have the other on my TBR pile - so yes!!
