Actually, that's not an unusual request in many kink groups.  Even though I have come across many reports, on different types of rope, crops, canes, floggers, paddles, belts, straps, handcuffs, restraints, cages, and so on, to be honest I've never come across reports on vibrating spanky toys.

Hence the request.  :)

I've use both the Leather VibraWhip (http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=7831) and the Hand Paddle VibraWhip Vibrating Whip (http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=7835) and that's what I found:

1. the Leather VibraWhip is quite hard to use as the straps of leather are quite long and it's hard to be precise when spanking. However, it's great when stroking as the vibrations trevel well to the tips.

2. The Hand Paddle is great when used without vibrations, but when it's turned on, it is amazing. The spank needs to be really strong or you need to spank the same area multiple time to make it sensitve, but then, when you apply thevibrating hand to the area, I thought it felt much better than a stroke using the inside of a hand. While the hand is vibrating on the sensitve area, the anticipation of the next spank is even greater than normally. 

So I stil think the idea of a vibrating whip is not totally useless. Give it a try and see if you have a different opinion.

 Thank you very much for your report, TLA, that was very helpful!  I understand what you meant about the flogger whip with all the falls, flogging is a bit of a speciality of mine, and it isn't easy to do, so I can see why that one would pose more difficulties than a more riding croppy-type affair.

When I look for a riding crop, I normally prefer one with a keeper (the bit at the business end) which has less shaft in it, because spanking with the shaft can hurt like a sonofabitch with very little pleasure.  So based on your report, if that vibrating crop which was on deal of the day before turns up on deal of the day again, I'll go for it this time.  :)

Yes indeed, I always ask Jack to make my floggers a total of 29 inches long, because that is the length of a standard full size violin bow.  I'm most familiar with that length, so I find that throwing it works best and most accurately for me.  Some think the shorter ones are easier but I disagree, less to work with, more room for error.  And too long makes accuracy a problem, and the keeps flogging the floggist.  :p
