What cheered me up recently...

I had this last night as well. Amazing how it is the simple things that can cheer us up the most.

Cuddling with my new little boy. He's just 1 week old and i'm absolutely besotted (as is daddy). and having my man home until June 11th so we can start life as a proper little family unit (he's another one in the Navy)

Thoughts of going home to my cats in a few days because I've missed them terribly whilst in my uni accommodation.

I had two new jumpers arrive today in the post, it was a really nice surprise as I'd forgot I'd ordered them! :)

Had a mad dance around with the family today and had pasta salad and mini milks after, perfect!

All I needed today to make me feel good was this glorious weather.... that and diablo 3!

The sunshine made me happy today, went and sunbathed in the little park near my flat which was heavenly x

is diablo 3 out yet! I still play diablo 2 Lod!! I still say its on of the best games I've played.

yea the sun was lovely today! Not cool when you're on trains for 7 hours haha.

PS I replied on pof DDD and its showing in my sent box but no icon in the inbox saying I've replied :-/ swear that site is broken beyond repair

I wouldn't say that it fully cheered me up but I've spent most of today spaced out on prescription painkillers. They feel horrible but less horrible than the searing pain in my wrist from my operation. I'm now one step closer to being Steve Austin. Part of my wrist is bolted together. Yuk.

A text that my best friend sent me. It was really sweet and meant so much cos normally he's not like that at all but he knew I'd had a bad day :)

 Made plans for the weekend trashed on Friday night, shopping with hangover on Saturday and a game of Warhammer 40K on Sunday

I think almost finished my new CV and rebuilding the whole thing again has cheered me up!

I've just had one of the evenings which makes London so special. I was going to see a show this evening, but a group of friends wanted to meet up. And then I was offered tickets for a second must-see show this evening, So the evening was spent meeting up with the friends, seeing the show, returning to the friends, then bumping into an old friend on the bus home. Happy.

Submitting my last ever piece of undergraduate work, drinking some Isle of Jura scotch and making plans to visit a friend in  few weeks :)
