How many tattoos and piercings do you have?

No tats, piercings or anything, although I've got some pretty horrific scars which are the result of accidents and ops.

Like to have my ears pierced though.

 Yikes, I'm tired. I read that as "Like to have my eyes pierced though."

Thought that was a bit hardcore until I re-read it! Lol!

I have 10 tattoos, on both arms, side and front of both thighs, and most of my back with one large tattoo,

they are addictive and i'm about to get another, my OH has no tattoos or piercings, i really like that he hasn't any which is strange as i love men with a lot of tattoos, sooooo sexy!!

The tattoo on my back took 6 sittings and an hour and a half each sitting, i like the pain of a tattoo xx

Can you insure your skin!! legs look amazing when they're tattood

 I dont think you can unless your using them for work ;) but yeah im hoping to get a medieval battle scene between knights templar and saracens on my right arm, left leg getting liam neeson from kingdom of heaven, right leg im getting some of the girls from JABcomix and so on... my feet will be cool.. im getting an XBOX controller going across both feet with the Raskulls and ILO/MILO playing on the controller :)

 a couple of questions for all those with nipple piercings:

my nipples are really sensitive & probably my favourite bit of my body. I love the look of nipple piercings (particularly the bars).  

What effect (if any) does having your nipples pierced have on the sensitivity of your nipples?

How long after piercing them should you leave them before you can play with them again?

What effect does nipple piercing have on breast-feeding? Would I be better to wait until I've had babies & weaned them?

I'm the female half of the couple. I have six tattoos and eight piercings including a nipple. I'm done with piercings but always thinking about new tattoo ideas. My OH and I recently had our two year anniversary and decided to get tattoos to mark the occasion. It was his first tattoo. Seeing him go through that for me was one of the most romantic things I've ever seen (he's quite thin so it was very painful for him). No regrets whatsoever; we love our tattoos. I'm currently planning another for myself to represent him. Tattooing was definitely the best way for us to express our committment to each other. Nothing says committment like permanent scarring!!

CurlyCouple Wife - I have one nipple pieced and like you my nipples are quite sensitive and tender. I did my research before getting it done. Its really a coin toss between getting increased sensitivity and decreased. My is now far more sensitive to pain but less sensitive to things like licking. I left it alone for 2 weeks before playing again. Nipple piercings dont affect breast feeding cause you have so many ducts. Just obviously take out the bar.

I think, like you, I'm going to do a bit of in depth research - it's just something that has appealed to me for a while now. My right nipple is more sensitive than the left so I reckon if I have the guts to do it I'll get the left one done first.

Yeah its worth doing your research. Make sure you go somewhere good. Its not too painful. I thought it was pretty weird sitting topless just chatting with the piercer (who was a bloke) for the guts of ten minutes. My OH tells me that women tend to get the left and guys get the right. I have to get the left. I gotta say my nipple piercing makes me feel so sexy. I was never entirely happy with my breasts but getting the piercing made me feel so feminine and sexy. And my OH goes wild for it. And its fun and girly. I love getting all the different bars in different colours. Co-ordinating is fun!

I'd say go for it. You wont regret it.

I have little clue about nipple piercings, but my man has his nipple done, and he had it done aaaaaagggggeeeesss ago, long, long before he met me. But he still hates it being touched. He says it is more sensative than the other one, even now.

So I dunno, maybe it varies from person to person?

@chriscamo, that sounds cool, and a lot of work!! i want to get featured in a tattoo mag, so i'm getting the OH to take photos of me and e-mail them to a mag.

It will make all the hours on being tattood soooo worth it!!

Three tattoos and did have nipple done, but took it out now.

Got my other leg done a few weeks ago. I only have 3. Designed them myself as it means no-one else will have them.

I'm beginning to believe that there is a long, long nerve that reaches my clit from the sole of my foot! It's bizarre!

Lately I've been curious about having my tongue pierced, but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to go through with it & I don't think my oh would really like it.

I have my ears pierced, but no other piercings and no tattoos either (and none planned). My OH has one tattoo that is on his chest but it's simple and looks quite nice
