Disability, Unemployment, Lack of Jobs and Government Plans.

 I've just been reading about this on the BBC website (loving how bloody difficult it was to find, though - cheers 'en BBC!), and please excuse my ignorance (I'm on my floaty-head tablets and am insanely tired), but it seems to say that those in receipt of DLA would be exempt from the cap?

These cuts are absolutely terrifying. They are utterly fucking over SO many people, and yet you just know that there are still going to be those who can play the system like a bloody violin.

The measure, which the government says it will also apply to Lords amendments on employment and support allowance (ESA), relates to the principle that the Lords cannot oppose tax and spending decisions agreed by the Commons

Oh really, Mr. Cameron? How democratic. 

To be fair, we all know why they're cracking down so hard. Theyre saving up the pennies for the Olympics kitty.

Cheer_up - that's not my understanding - DLA is being removed and replaced with a new benefit called PIP. I've not fully looked into all the details but PIP is very controversial and not at all supported by those who matter.

I will also mention that many disabled people are not disputing the fact that welfare reform is necessary, there are many issues with the current system. But the new system is absolutely terrifying and has been passed with cheating and lying from the "elected".

The final chance to stop these rushed and poorly researched changes is to petition for the Queen to withold royal assent.
