Thanks all,

I've been running the place for three months now anyway and I've been a senior manager for a while. I was running another unit at the beginning of the year but had to transfer and it was to a Deputy position so I'm just ecstatic this position came up.

I'm not worried about the responsibility because like I said, I've been doing it for a while anyway!

Needless to say, I am on a hig at the moment :)

well - i live 400 miles away from my job (since leaving my ex-husband) and have started a new life. I had asked a few times for voluntary redundancy, but they'd refused. So I was kinda glad when it was offered. 800 miles per day commute wouldn't be great,
