Feeling a bit ouchy so putting my feet up for a while and having a cuppa.

Had my jag, bottom is a bit tender but that should ease off soon. Been to Pets at home for dog food and mice for the snake. Need to take my boy to get his hair cut later, it's pouring down with rain so not really in a hurry. x

well today is job (joke) centre day.  another 6 jobs applied for this week, another 2 rejections letters ( in the same day). at least i've done enough to satisfy the conditions. Should have as I'm running out of things to apply for and having to put cv's in at places that have no vacancies!

but having your ego bashed while trying your hardest is never fun.  just got to keep at it i suppose.

i need to get employment. my postgraduate education depends on it in a way. ( I can't get loans without some sort of assurance)

job centre are sending me on a course so i'm about to ring the person now, hope to get that sorted out. ( plus if I do it now it's evidence of seeking employment ect)

my main worry is if I get refused the dole, luckier than most in this situation but it's still terrifying living hand to mouth, not something i've done before or want to do for a long time.

Well it's sound like you know what your doing, are being very proactive and structured so that's a great start.

I can understand what u mean about living hand to mouth though. Why would they refuse you money when you've been applying.

Rejection sucks but keep throwing them out there still something sticks.

 Hi everyone..  just as I was getting into the swing of things on here the school holiday boredom kicks in with my 4 kids and my life has changed from quite peacefull to stupidly busy and stressfull lol..  Its the first time I have looked forward to schools starting again.. I think with each birthday i loose more patients lol I used to love school holidays soo much but there so hard work this year..  Hopefully get time to have a proper catch up in the forums soon..  hope you are all well and enjoying the summer

Afternoon all. In slight trepidation at tonight. In true fashion of my OH after sending her the lengthy email I mentionned earlier all I got back in response now was ' I haven't had the chance to look at the links but we can talk about this tonight.

I made it really clear that I wanted her to take her time over it and come back to me when ready. Seems like she's dealt with it in her usual business like manner and not really spent anytime thinking it through at all :-(

Thanks SL. I know how you feel with the rejection letters from job applications, had 2 myself in the past week. It's worse though when they don't send you one. It can get you down at times but you just have to pick yourself up and keep trying.

GXSTRING you should move up to Scotland, some of the kids went back to school today and some are back tomorrow! x
