I remember reading a few years back about a woman in America suffering from depression. She hanged herself from a tree around the same date as Halloween but stayed there for days because people thought she was a decoration.

Then there are all those random stories about people being caught shagging traffic cones, shoes, underpasses, car exhausts and sheep etc. I never understood the guy shagging an underpass. Sounds bloody painful to me. I did however laugh at the guy apparently shagging a sheep in a field somewhere, i forget where exactly...and as he knelt down with his trousers around his ankles and his little, excited chap inserted, he hadn't noticed he was beside one of those little out of the way train stations. A train stopped and everyone got a good look at him and what he was up to. Now, whether it's true or not, i don't care. It amused me :D
