As some of you know , I work in a Dementia Care Home. Sadly the inevitable happend to one of the residents whilst I was on shift tonight.

I supported the family & did what I had to professionally . I know the "Rules" say carers are not supposed to " Get Attached " to residents but it cant be helped. We are caring people within the home.

Selfishly now, I just want a cuddle. Not seeing BF until tomorrow.

Nothing at all selfish about that LY, it's only natural to struggle with the loss of anyone you've spent time with, even if it's in a professional context.  You're human, we feel things, that's not going to change because there's a rule that says we shouldn't!

LH - I'm really sorry about your sister.  It's so sad when families are torn or broken apart, I know there's nothing I can say to make it better but I hope you know you can always rant in my direction if you need to :)
