Haha, make sure he never places a bet on Derby to win!....What team does he support?...Maybe I should ask this in the good morning/afternoon/night thread.....don't want to take this off topic

I got Derby scores up live now so i'll keep you updated with scores!

The ones my guy is betting on aren't going to well. My home team are playing today and its a tough game by the looks of things..

Today I'm grateful for roast beef, yorkshire pud, roast potatoes, carrots, peas, sprouts, sage and onion stuffing and home made gravy using the juice from the meat!

Oh and a glass of lager to wash it down with!

I blend some broccoli into the gravy to get the lad to eat it! Sneaky I know but he wouldn't touch it otherwise!

Luckily I've always loved my greens but I'm loving your covert approach!  I used to replace mince with quorn mince in bolognase, shepherds pie and lasagne to make my family secretly a bit more vegetarian!

Proper chef aren't ya SG - is there a cooking thread on here? There should be!! I love homemade vegetable soups (it's the only way I can eat veg!!) but I'm not home making for one, so I'm thinking of a spicy parsnip tin! Lentil soup is lovely! I'm all about lentils since I started working in a curry house (there dahl dishes are just amazing!), love them!

KP, it's such a drag cooking for one isn't it?!

Yes!!! I just can't seem to make the effort which is daft because I love my food!  Maybe we should make a pact and both do something nice for ourselves today!

I'm thinking I might do myself a pizza from scratch ... throwing the dough around the room makes me feel very cheffy!

Pizza base cheat Kitty. . . .Use a nann bread! Spread tomato puree on it, some cheddar cheese and top with mozzarella and ham, onions. Oven gas mark 4 for 10-15 mins as the base is already cooked girl! Dead easy and quick and surprisingly nice. Naan bread pizzas!

SG69 x

Sorry it's off topic but I love food!

You have a tip for everything don't ya SG! We're having slow cooked beef in ale tomorrow (sauce from a jar though) with mash if you have any suggestions on spicing it up a bit  I'm going to start a thread on cooking in your honour....how can we make it sex related though?

today im greatful for having my own place

Adnaw if you make soup you can freeze it, you just need to add a little more water to it when you cook it as de frosting takes it away.
