My wife tried our new latex stockings for the first time lastnight. While we had no real problems getting them on, we just couldn't get them to stay up. They kept rolling down to just above the knee which became quite uncomfortable for her. We used lube to get them over the feet & ankles but the rest of the stockings were dry. We have the Sharon Sloan ones and a lot of reviewers say the same. The tops of them are rolled down a little and glued; does anyone have different latex stockings that actually stay up?
We will be buying suspenders or a basque with suspenders, but would also like a pair of stockings that stay up. Can anyone recommend any? Would it be best to go for the right size or go smaller/larger? Any help is appreciated!

Does anyone have or know of a pair that stay up? I have seen pictures of latex stockings on without suspenders. Would the more expensive cut & glued type (as opposed to moulded) be any better?

In a word, yes. If you were to try a shop like for instance libidex you will find a) the garment ray is better made and b) for a bit more cash can be made to measure.
The cheaper option is to use a couple of coins and fold the top if the stocking over them to make a hem when they are on - that will stop them unrolling!

Wet look just isn't latex though. They're hot, but wouldn't satisfy my fetish for rubber!

Defo not baby oil ork, it would destroy the latex. We used silicone lube to get them on over the foot & ankle then unrolled the stocking a bit like a big condom. Lube on the tops would just make them worse.
Now thinking about buying a pair of decent stockings to go with the basque i have my eye on. My wife would kill me if she knew i spent £130 on it all though

Interesting about the suspenders - how do you get the clip to work if the stockings haven'tt got a lacy top to them, like latex ones for example? We can never seem to get pvc topped stockings or stockings without the lacey bit to work in suspenders...

uxo; we got a latex suspender belt that has the usual fastenings on, I was a bit sceptical but they actually worked really well, despite the rolled top of the stockings. They were easy to fasten and stayed on all night; definately money well spent

KF; I looked at those but the description says they need suspenders & the reviews back this up. I'll get an expensive pair from a specialist site when funds allow it

Taylor; you can use talc, but the impression I get from reviews, blogs etc is that a liquid dressing aid such as silicone lube is much better. We have found it very easy to get stockings on using some durex silicone lube that I got from LH, though I have a bottle of sliquid in my basket now (along with crotchless latex panties - please hurry payday!)

On my wet look stockings my suspender belt worked. I have pics on my profile if you want to see. Suspenders were definitely needed though.
