Hi all, I am the OH of Mr Loverman and he has been telling me all about this sites forum and how friendly everyone is, how helpful and jus in general nice to talk to so I have a question and would like some other opinions: Mr Loverman enjoys dressing up from bra and pants to the whole shibang (stockings, gloves, high boots, makeup etc), he absolutely loves it, as do I, we both enjoy role reversal and we have hours of fun, As I mentioned I have no problem with what he does and as I said I love it as much as he does and I would just like to hear the thoughts and experiences from some other individuals, woman who's husbands do the same and there feelings.

    Many Thanks

Hiya and welcome to the site. When it comes to guys wearing feminine clothes- I don't really have a preference for it personally but don't have a problem with it either. =)

I think the most my partner has done is wear one of my lacy knickers as a joke lol BUT he did say he quite liked it. Probably because it's unrestrictive. I do like the look of some of the lacy and satin underwear for men though and might get some of them for him.

I'm glad to see that you both are able to faciliate eachother's fantasies and fetishes. If it's nothing too extreme I'd be open to whatever my partner fancied too.

You're welcome. We're a friendly and open minded bunch. =)

There's quite a few male members here that are fans of dressing up in feminine clothing.

Here are some recent threads on the topic- http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/community/forums/lingerie-and-clothing/515906-ive-been-kinky-todaybeen-wearing-this-of-my/

    Welcome!

I would love to see my boyfriend in a pair of my lace undies, but not sure he would go for it! I have a very good friend who is a cross-dresser, and his family have completely embraced it, including their teenage children, which I think is fantastic. When him and his wife got married, she obvioulsy wore a wedding dress to the ceremony, and then he wore one to the party in the night. He holds an annual cross-dresser function, and always welcomes his children to bring their partners along. I think most teenagers would die of embarrassment but they are so, so supportive. He finds it hard sometimes, as he is a builder, which obviously carries some stigma of being a "manly-mans" job. He got into a fight with a couple of lads once, who recognised him as the local builder when he was out in a dress. He won the fight, and to say sorry to him, the lads who started the fight invited him out for a pint. When he arrived, the two lads and a few of their friends were all wearing ladies clothing, to show him that they were wrong to judge.

I think people are quick to judge. If a woman goes out in her boyfriends jacket, most people wouldn't bat an eyelid or would even say its cute, but if a man went out in his girlfriends clothes, he is considered to be gay or 'sick', which is completely wrong.

I can understand this, my OH crossdresses but as yet hasn't told me. I know because he needs a lesson in internet security. When sharing a pc sign out of your profile on websites/forums!

I don't have an issue with him dressing and have spent most of this weekend trying to get him to talk to me - but its not happening

Hi Mrs. Loverman! :) Welcome to LH - you'll find that there are a few crossdressers here and there - I think there's nothing wrong with men trying on women's clothes, makeup, etc and vice versa. I respect people who don't care what others think and do what makes them happy. More people should 'come out' of their dress-filled closets :)

I actually love dressing up as a boy (it must stem from my tomboyish roots) and really wish I could do it 'properly' instead of just wearing a baseball hat and jeans. There's nothing I can do about my F cup boobs though lol.

I love the feel of my wife's knickers next to my manhood, but not wearing them. Not my bag, but if wifey wanted me too (and I lost another 3 stone) I would for her.

I'm a long-term lingerie-wearer; my first wife liked dressing me up and my present wife is OK with it although she runs a bit hot and cold - sometimes it all has to come off when we're together, others, its seems to turn her on something rotten.

I think women often have the feeling it emasculates their OH to be cross-dressing, but as the last major taboo short of murdering children, it takes balls to be a cross-dresser out of the closet. Most women seem to enjoy the feminine side of men, assuming it's done well and isn't, literally, a travesty. When it's their own partner, the game changes a bit and it takes a woman prepared to be unusual herself and comfortable in her own sexuality.

Compared with most vices, it seems pretty harmless to me. Hiding it furtively doesn't help anybody and there are some positive sides - my OH's lingerie drawer is much better filled than it would have been without my interest in undies, and I wash all the delicates, so that's one thing she doesn't have to worry about. I'm calmer and nicer wearing a bra than not. It's note entirely for fun either - I have some breast growth and am more comfy wearing a bra than having my boobs flopping around unsupported.

Although I have been out fully dressed I don't really do that any more, so I'm just a man with boobs most of the time. I reckon I'd be two or three sizes bigger if I hadn't been at least a partial cross-dresser for much of my adult life, so there's a health and beauty benefit, too.

In my case I've been dressing in secret for 36 years. Although it does turn me on I've been doing it since I was about 4 or 5, way before I had any awareness of sex. I used to love playing Miss World with my sister and our cousin. My parents worried and sent me to play with the boys instead.

I haven't gone any further with this in the past because through fear I've convinced myself that I could never pass as a woman. Society is largely tolerant but there is still a significant minority who can make life difficult for anyone who is different in any way.

I decided recently that I have to find out so I've started a weight loss process. When I can get into a 12/14 then I will book a makeover (The Fourth Space looks lovely) to see if I have a chance of passing or not.

    Anna,

You can probsbly pass if you sort out the details. My biggest problem isn't my masculine frame - I can hide that andmake it looks like a statuesque woman, but my beard is the big drawback. Always thought of getting it lasered or hsving electrolysis, but never got round to it. It would make sense, though, as even as a man I look very dodgy in photos. Still, as I said in my earlier post, I have been out fully dressed and the world didn't fall in. Got a couple of strange looks, but with practice and confidence I could pass. Attitude is the key, and attention to detail.

I've been crossdressing on and off for a few years, but now I'm finally accepting that I like it and that I want to do it and that there shouldn't be any stigma against it. I still live with my parents and so it was hard for a long time but this year I came out to them and as it turns out they are awesome! Now I just need to find a partner who is as open minded as them and you wonderful people :) I'm yet to go out dressed up but that's all a confidence thing. I'm not particularly confident in male mode never mind when I'm in a dress hehe. But it is incredibly reassuring to read about people accepting others for who they are and even indulging them :)

if you feel good in womens clothes it doesn't matter if "you pass", unless it bothers u when u look at yourself, i dont want to look like a man in a dress and am searching high and low for more ways to make me feel femme. but it doesn't stop me feeling very happy and sexy when i dress up, go for it and be happy, u have waited long enough i think. x

Hi Mrs.Loverman, my cousin often goes out cross dressed. He's well over six foot with legs most women would love to have and looks quite stunning as a woman. I think he's been into the lifestyle for a while and has a lot of friends who are into the same. A couple of years back I went with him to a Magic Theatre event in London, it's basically a ball room event with stage performances and all night dancing and socialising. Good mix of people and one of the best night's out I've had, my cousin was the only person I knew in the group before that night but everyone was really friendly and I felt totally at home. Just for reference he's getting married later this year and his mrs, like you, enjoys this side of him and is totally supportive.
