Read that three times and still don't understand the question. Are you asking what we did with our old sex toys before the Amnesty arrived on the scene? I bet most had no choice but to bin them, or 'smuggle' a bag of them in to an electronics recycling bin.

But yes, the amnesty scheme is brilliant. I need to send some to them I think. I have a broken wired finger bullet that I actually really enjoyed. Was rather sad to see that it has died. :-(

Thing is, sex toys with out any electrical parts, like dildo's and anal toys are really difficult to be rid of. I had a massive dildo that would have been rather effective as a club to knock out intruders in the middle of the night! But it had a terrible chemicle smell, even though it said pthalates free, it was stinking!!! I couldn't get rid of the smell! (And I really tried everything, I even put a thread up here somewhere because of it!!) I eventually gave up because the whole house was begining to absorb the smell. My bins are a fair distance away from the flat. I have to go out on to the main street, then up another street then into a little area with garages where there are a load of flats, and I had to find a way to smuggle this massive dildo out with my regular rubbish without it popping out the bag or people seeing the shape of what it was through the bag!!

I managed.. somehow! (On a busy saturday!)

i got rid of a couple of dildos recently- it's a shame that lovehoney can't recycle them in any way. so to get rid of mine, i chopped them up with a knife (carefully!) into lots of little bits, put them into a bag and threw them out with the regular rubbish.
