So, because the delivery is discrete, does that mean that the man delivering it to my door doesn't know what's inside when he hands it to me?

The only way they could possibly know is if they ordered from LH themselves tbh!

If your postie has bought from them before, he'll probably know (I always recognise the boxes, even before getting close enough to check they're from Bath). Otherwise, I highly doubt anyone would have a clue -- they're just plain brown boxes.

Tbh i think my postman knows what it may be when he knocks on my door, more from my reaction than the actual parcel!

    And welcome to the forum

    :)

I can assure you that Royal Mail are not allowed to open up parcels and peek inside. The word 'discreet' is used to describe the brown boxes that your order arrives in and the lael with returns address.

Yep, parcels are very discreet and very boring. Your postman won't know what's inside or that it's from Lovehoney.

You can see photos and a video of what they look like here:

    Boring!

    Have fun :-)

My post lady knows exactly who they're from. And she's got to be in her late 50s...

Even if the postman does know what's inside it shouldn't matter. It's none of his business, he has a job to do and you shouldn't worry about whether he suspects anything or not.

I would be more worried about neighbours or family knowing when you get it delivered! Tbh, as most people have said, it's none of the postman's business. Why should he/she be bothered? I'm sure they've seen everything!

The only give away on the actual box is the in the returns address on the box. So to any family, friends or neighbours they wouldn't have a clue (unless they buy from LH themselves - or google it). This is more important to me just in case anyone has to take a package in for me or if I get a family member to collect from the post office.

After working in the logistics industry for 10 years though I can tell you that there is a good chance your postman will know where it's from (blokes in warehouses talk - so once one knows, all know - "there's dildos in that box!!") but to be honest he will have that many other packages and deliveries to worry about rather then thinking about what you've ordered from Lovehoney

My OH has answered the door to the postman for a Lovehoney order in sexy undies and a short dressing gown, all she did was wink at him which turned her on because he obviously knew exactly where that box was coming from, most likely made his day and gave him a story to tell the lads back at the depot lol!

I do wonder if FedEx knows whats in those boxes they deliver me. well, if they do, I dont care, honestly Personally more worried about leaving a toy under the pillow when visiting parent and mom finding it rather than postman knowing.

As a receptionist I have seen LH packages at my office. We take in dozens of parcels daily for people all over the place. I hand over every package (not just LH ones) with a smile and a cheesy remark such as "enjoy your package" or something along those line. The only reason I know the  LH boxes is because I order from here  myself (and I usually only spot them whenI am waiting on one).  My colleagues are clueless (because if they knew, they would have mentioned something to me when mine come in). Im sure pleanty of packages get past me from other retailers of a similar nature because I am unfamiliar with the brand.s.

It isn't the postman/ courier/ receptionists business what is in the box, but it is their duty to make sure you get it intact.

As for family knowing what is in there, chances are they have no idea and you can always intercept a parcel before they can get to it.

And if you are worried about what the postman sees, I dread to think about the poor window cleaner...
