New Look

Couldn't see a thread so I started a new one, what does everyone think of the new look of the front page?

I prefer the previous one, this one seems much more errr perfect. The other one had seemingly happy couples, the models on this one don't seem to show much happiness or pleasure which is what Lovehoney is about.

 I like the new look, looks cleaner and more streamlined, to be honest I'm not so fussed about seeing happy couples, not being in that situation and all that ;O)

I like the way it looks its nice and clean, I dont mind change (well except the facebook crap) and think it looks more inviting for everyone.

Hello! I wouldn't say it's a new look exactly - more of a freshening up of the major overhaul we had earlier this year. It's designed to fit in with our first national ad campaign, rolling out from next week. So it ties in with our magazine ads (Cosmo, Company to name but two), underground ads in London, some online stuff and our TV ad, which is proving a tad controversial. Even though it's just a married couple kissing. (Sighs)

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, good and bad, we really do appreciate it and read everything!

i like the new pictures- clean and professional looking- very nice

I rather like it. Took a few mins to adjust to it, like all things new :)

I like both, but the old one looked 'funner' to navigate, the new one looks too...buisness-y..even though it is lol.

It always takes a bit to get used to any new design, however minor the changes.

I do like this deeper purple though and the more clean-cut edges. The pictures look more professional but I do like how the colours look. I can't wait to see the ads!

 It does look a little more corporate, look's okay though.

I like the new look, however I am struggling to add certain things to my wish list as it isn't scrolling down enough to allow me to do so.  Can anyone give me any suggestions? For example this one:   http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=22777   I am not being picky however the description just moves down and then the “add basket” option is obscured when the description reaches the end of the page. There is no wish list option. I am using Internet Explorer. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to what is going on or how I can get round it? Thanks everyone.

To be honest, I don't really remember much from the older version. But I can say I prefer these pictures rather than the couple on the bed one. It seemed a little cheesy: especially since they were smiling at the toy in their hands... These look cleaner and more bold. I like it.

I like it.. The new models are a bit on the perfect side, which makes me wanna cut down on the cheesecake (NEVER a good thing!) but the new thumbnails ( condoms, lubes, DOTD..) are really nice.. I like those a lot :)
I think the new advert is going to be well received too...
So in summary: YAY!!

It took a while to adjust to the different look, but i think I like it, Im terrible one for no change; but its nice to see when products will be in, I like the tabbed description or reviews as you dont have to keep scrolling down now for all the reviews.

Yes I like its more upmarket now, to modern websites; but still has the great lovehoney vibe going on.

 I love the new look, but im wondering if the guys hair is modelled on Hitlers.

I shouln't be surprised i guess, but I'm continually amazed by how closed-minded some people are! Its like they're from hundred years the past.
The add looks fine to me by the way, and so does the new front page. Looking sharp!

I do like most of the new things like the way the product page is laid out, the tabs and the cleaner look. I just don't like the models used, this is supposed to be sexual happiness.

 Hi KinkyKev - we're trying to fix this but can't replicate the problem. Could you email alice@lovehoney.co.uk with a screenshot if this happens again, along with more details of the browser you're using?

I like it, it has been a while since I used LH but the new one is better, I agree it looks more business like xx
