LoveHoney's IT team have been tip-tapping away in their corner, and have come up with some super style magic that enables you to choose your delivery date!

No more having to track down to the Post Office to receive your parcel, especially as you can even specify a Saturday delivery too!

Check it out when you put through your next order and let us know what you think.

Flipping heck Ruthie, promote the suggester of that brill idea to Managing Director- takes the mystique and guesswork out of when it may arrive, which in turn allows you to plan for the perfect suprise when she/he is out or the mother in law is coming down... do they guarantee before a certain time... fabbie idea though, that and being able to buy for third parties, as l mentioned in a thread eons ago !!

Congrats TB

Excellent. That'll make my life sooooooo much easier (and my bank balance soooooo much lower!).  Why can't all companies do this?!

There is a potted rose nursery that does this (choose delivery date), I bought one for someone this year. I guess all companies could do it.

I don't think we should harp on that one Walrus, something of a thorny subject !!

Fab idea, will save me endless trips to the sorting office and inquisitive neighbours taking in my parcels!

This is excellent :D If I miss a parcel I either have to ring them to get them to re-deliver or trek 40 miles to the sorting office. No I don't know why it's so far away either.

Hurrah! Glad you like the idea - lots of customers have already used it, so we're really pleased.

It's a more expensive service than the ones we use for our free delivery, so it costs £4.95 if you choose your delivery day.

But if you spend more than £60, it's free!

Happy Christmas!

How does this work for little old me over here in Backwardsland (aka Ireland)? Will I still be able to use it?

No need to be sorry, that's pretty much what I thought! Anyway, no matter how ace LH are, An Post (the Irish post office) always seems to eff things up on my end :)

Apologies in advance shellyboo but I tried out this new service, I placed an order at about lunchtime yesterday & the parcel was in my hands before 10am this morning.

Firstly, excellent idea, I now have my haul coming on saturday morning (and I expect, me, not long after. Ba-doom-tish.)

Secondly, BAD lovehoney. First, you make me order with your enticing prices and offers. Next, you quietly whisper in my ear "ooh, if you spend £50, we'll give you this vibrator for free-eee!"... THEN you go and pounce with the £60+ means you can choose your day of delivery?!

Damn. You. (I was going to spend £30 on that order. £68 it is, then. mind you, i may need a shed built to contain my stash once this arrives...)

I think this is a great idea! Looking forward to placing my next order!
